Conor McGregor has been absent from the Octagon since losing to his fierce rival Khabib Nurmagomedov last year. And a hand injury which he suffered earlier this year meant that he has had to wait longer than intended before securing his next UFC fight.
However, the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion has still been active on social media.
One of his more recent family-friendly posts on Instagram, for instance, shows him holding his baby girl. And the most recent photo he posted - at the time of writing - is a selfie he took in the front seat of a car, with his son in the background.
What McGregor's eagle-eyed fans picked up on in the snaps was that he was now sporting a thick beard, leading many to respond to his new look by comparing him to comic actor, Seth Rogen.
And of course, McGregor decided to join in on the joke by posting a split-screen pic of him and Rogen to his Instagram story.
"You bad ass motherf***er Seth, can't wait for Superbad 2, McGregor and McLovin join the IRA," he wrote in jest.

In fact, he even hinted at a possible return as early as this December, with UFC President Dana White initially said to be considering adding him to the UFC 245 card in Las Vegas.
However, according to White, it now seems more likely that McGregor will be returning to action early next year.
This surveillance video shows Conor McGregor appearing to smash a fan's phone:"If he doesn't fight in December, it will be early next year," he told TMZ Sports. "Conor wants Dublin, but we got Vegas."
White added: "The (Khabib rematch) is possible too, down the road. I think Conor would fight somebody else before that, the Ferguson fight would have to happen, there's a lot of possibilities. To sit here now and say who's going to fight who, I don't know until this whole thing plays out. Masvidal - Diaz winner is in the mix too."
