David Beckham's ex-assistant Rebecca Loos issues scathing response to Brooklyn’s statement slamming parents
Rebecca Loos, the former personal assistant to David Beckham, has responded to the ongoing drama surrounding Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria. Following Brooklyn's emotional Instagram Stories posts in which he criticized his parents and accused them of attempting to ruin his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, Loos shared her thoughts on the situation.
Loos, who worked for David Beckham in 2003, commented on the drama after a follower pointed out Brooklyn's public statement.
The emotional post from Brooklyn revealed his feelings of betrayal, as he claimed that his parents were spreading lies and working to damage his marriage. Loos expressed sympathy for Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola, commenting that she had "felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like."
Brooklyn's accusations against his parents
In his Instagram tirade, Brooklyn Beckham did not hold back. He accused his parents of spreading “countless lies” and trying to ruin his marriage with Nicola Peltz Beckham. He went as far as saying that his parents attempted to “bribe” him into signing away the rights to his name before his wedding.
Brooklyn also detailed moments he believes his parents tried to sabotage his relationship, including claiming that his mom, Victoria, “hijacked” his wedding dance and danced inappropriately with him. He further alleged that Victoria canceled Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute.
The 26-year-old also touched on his absence from his father’s 50th birthday celebrations, revealing that he and Nicola had tried to spend time with David, but their attempts were rejected. Brooklyn also claimed that when his father did agree to meet, it was under the condition that Nicola would not be invited.
Loos stands by her stance on the truth
Loos shared her thoughts in a series of comments on her own post on Instagram on January 19.
One of Loos' followers commented, "Rebecca, you gotta see the awesome ditch Brooklyn just posted in his story about David and Victoria and their lies. I feel like Brooklyn is supporting everyone who knows the facade." The comment continued, "I know you are wonderful and happy and don't need validation but I think you will feel a source of extra validation. Especially the end about the dogs 🐾."
In response, Loos wrote, "So happy he is standing up for himself and speaking publicly finally!!!! I have felt so bad for his poor wife, knowing too well what they can be like!" Her comment expressed sympathy for Nicola, emphasizing Loos' understanding of the situation and supporting Brooklyn’s decision to speak out.
In response to the controversy, Loos made it clear that she believes “the truth always comes out.” While she did not elaborate further, her comment seemed to suggest support for Brooklyn’s decision to speak out publicly about his family issues.
Loos has long been known for her own past claims, particularly her allegations of an affair with David Beckham, which she first made over two decades ago. Though David has denied the affair, Loos has maintained that her account remains truthful.
David and Victoria Beckham have not publicly responded to the latest accusations from Brooklyn, but an insider close to the family has previously stated that the couple is “hurt and disappointed” by their son’s current stance and that they still hope for reconciliation.
Despite this, Brooklyn appears resolute in his desire to distance himself from his parents, claiming that he is finally standing up for himself.
