Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz have been showered with praise from fans for "aging naturally" in a new and seemingly unedited photo of the pair.

On Wednesday (September 15), 46-year-old Barrymore shared a sweet snap of her resting her head on the shoulder of her pal and former Charlie's Angels co-star Diaz, 49.

She captioned the image: "Bestie hour with my bestie poo poo!!"

Fans were thrilled to see the two Hollywood A-listers showing off their natural beauty in all its filterless glory. And the post has quickly racked up over 1.3 million likes and more than 12,000 comments in less than 24 hours.

One fan took to the comments to say: "I love that you are [both] so natural with no botox and fillers!!! Aging naturally is Amazing."

Another gushed: "Can I just thank you for not over editing this photo."

A third commented: "I love seeing my fave Hollywood celebrities aging with such grace and beauty….as I also am about the same age. Love you both."

A final person said: "Don’t y’all love how they are just naturally beautiful without anything? It’s so nice to see."

Back in 2014, Diaz told Entertainment Tonight that she had previously experimented with Botox but quickly decided it wasn't for her.

She said: "I've tried [Botox] before, where it was like [a] little tiny touch of something. It changed my face in such a weird way that I was like, 'No, I don't want to [be] like [that]'. I'd rather see my face aging than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."

And during an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show last year, the 50 First Dates star said that she's "never done anything to my face and I would like to try not to."

Barrymore also told Glamour UK said that despite feeling increasingly "vulnerable" with each passing year, she avoids making changes to her face.

"Not messing with my face or chasing some unnatural beauty is a standard I live by," she said. "I feel more human and more vulnerable every year of my life but I also know how to appreciate every year more and more too."
