It has now been almost 20 years since the first Harry Potter film - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - was released in movie theaters.
What followed was an unprecedented ride of soaring successes - seven further movies, a spinoff movie series, endless theme park rides, studio tours and millions upon millions of adoring fans all over the world.
Check out this adorable throwback interview with Emma Watson and Rupert Grint from 2001:And with the incredible success of the Harry Potter movies came the inevitable fame - at a young age - of the films' three leads: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson.
For those of us who grew up alongside the trio - the Potter generation if you will - the emotional rollercoaster of the books and movies has been somewhat shared, and thus the feeling of it all coming to an end hit us all the hardest.

However, with ample opportunity to sit and and rewatch the movies during self-isolation, (speaking personally I started my Potter marathon roughly 10 minutes after Boris Johnson announced the UK would be going into lockdown) all is not lost.
And in the spirit of nostalgia and throwback, Hermione Granger actor Emma Watson has shared a throwback baby photo in celebration of her 30th birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Watson wrote;
"Wow. 30! What an adventure that was.... You, out there - that have supported me - thank you. Thank you for all your kindness. Thanks for having my back. ❤️"
And fans flocked to the comments section to wish her well on her birthday. "Happy birthday my queen!" one fan wrote, while another added, "Happy birthday Emma".

Alongside her incredible career in film, Watson graduated from Brown University with a degree in English Literature in 2014, and was appointed a UN Women Goodwill ambassador amid which she helped launch the HeForShe campaign.
