Former NFL player Matt Kalil is taking legal action against his ex-wife, model Haley Baylee, following her comments about his penis size, which went viral during a Twitch livestream in November 2025.
Baylee claimed that Kalil’s large size - described as being in the top "0.01%" of the population - was a significant factor in their 2022 divorce.
The comments have caused a public uproar, and Kalil is now suing his ex-wife for the emotional distress and unwanted attention he claims to have suffered as a result.
The Backstory: Divorce and the Twitch Livestream
Kalil and Baylee’s marriage, which began in 2015, ended in 2022 after Baylee filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
While their split was official, it was Baylee’s viral comments about Kalil’s anatomy during a Twitch livestream with Marlon Garcia that reignited public interest in their relationship.
During the stream, Baylee described Kalil’s size as “like .01 percent of the population,” sharing that the size of his penis was one of the challenges in their marriage.
She mentioned that they had tried everything from therapy to consultations with doctors in an attempt to address the issue, but ultimately, it was unresolved.
“We tried it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying … Looked up lipo-type s***,” Baylee laughed during the conversation. She continued, saying: "We’ve tried, impossible unless you’re going to be in tears."
Despite this, Baylee emphasized that she and Kalil had a strong relationship, built on mutual respect. She noted that they were “really chill people” and had tried various solutions to their marital difficulties.
Haley Baylee’s Response: Clarifying Her Intentions
After Kalil filed his lawsuit, Baylee expressed her shock and hurt in a statement to Page Six, saying she was “genuinely shocked and incredibly hurt” by the legal action.
She clarified that her comments were made in a light-hearted context, and she felt that the full scope of their conversation was being overshadowed by a single soundbite.
“I am heartbroken that he is choosing to subject us and our families to this ordeal,” Baylee said, further explaining that her intentions were never to harm Kalil.
Baylee also shared that she respects Kalil’s privacy and the integrity of their relationship, adding: “The truth is in the original livestream — which is still live on Marlon’s YouTube account. I speak highly of him in multiple ways throughout that conversation.”
She continued: “It’s unfortunate that only one fragment is being amplified, because it doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me.”
The Financial Fallout and Legal Action
In the lawsuit, filed on January 2, 2026, Kalil alleges that Baylee’s “degrading and deeply personal comments” subjected him to excessive public scrutiny and invasive commentary, per TMZ.
The former NFL star also claims that his family members, including his current wife, Keilani Asmus, have been negatively affected by the viral remarks.
Kalil states that Asmus received "disturbing" and "alarming" messages in the aftermath of Baylee's comments.
Kalil's lawsuit claims that Baylee has benefited financially from the viral comments, gaining increased attention and traffic. He is suing for damages that exceed $75,000, arguing that her comments amount to an invasion of his privacy and unjust enrichment.
In a separate statement, Baylee denied that her actions were intended to profit from the situation, adding that their livestream covered many aspects of their relationship beyond the one comment that gained so much media attention.
She expressed regret that the conversation was reduced to a single viral moment, hoping that the full hour-and-a-half-long discussion would be given more context.
Matt Kalil’s Life After Divorce
Since his retirement from the NFL, Matt Kalil has focused on building a business. He co-founded Celaya, a tequila brand with his brother, former NFL player Ryan Kalil, which has been well-received for its high-quality craftsmanship.
Kalil remarried in 2024 to model Keilani Asmus, who has since been affected by the controversy surrounding Baylee’s comments.
In addition to his business ventures, Kalil has been offered a lucrative deal with adult webcam site CamSoda, which invited him to front their "Big Confidence" campaign.
The campaign is designed to “celebrate men who can laugh at themselves, own their story, and turn viral moments into empowerment.”
