Lana Del Rey has a rumored new boyfriend and her fans are going wild about their age gap.
Del Rey, the Grammy-nominated singer, seems to be dating Louisiana alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene, if reports are to be believed.
Rumors about the couple began circulating after they were spotted holding hands ahead of Del Rey's performance at the Leeds Festival on August 25, a show that faced technical difficulties.
The speculation intensified when the two were seen getting close in London shortly afterward, per the Daily Mail.
According to Page Six, the pair initially met in March 2019 when Del Rey took one of Dufrene’s airboat tours while in Louisiana for the BUKU Music + Art Project festival.
At the time, Dufrene shared a photo on Instagram, expressing his excitement about meeting the star. "I never know who I can run across on my tours but always a pleasure @lanadelrey," he wrote.
Del Rey, 39, also shared moments from the tour on her Facebook, captioning a post: “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
Well, given their apparent romance, fans have noted how the singer appeared to predict that this would happen.
In Del Ray's 2012 hit 'Cola', the lyrics feature: "I got a taste for men who are older / It's always been, so it's no surprise."
With the rumors of her relationship reaching a fever pitch, many fans took to social media to express their surprise at not realizing this sooner.
