JoJo Siwa is no stranger to turning heads, but her latest photoshoot for Ladygunn magazine has left fans in a serious state of confusion.

The former Dance Moms star, who became famous for her sparkly bows, ponytail, and bubblegum-pop persona, has continued on her hard left turn into bold and risqué territory — and fans aren’t sure what to think.

For the double cover of the mag, JoJo - now 21 - rocked a bedazzled chest plate paired with an equally flashy jockstrap. Yep, you read that right.

But that’s not all. Siwa topped off the edgy look with a pair of gold combat boots, posing in a squat on one cover, while her second cover showed her flexing her arms, still rocking the chest plate — complete with nipples and abs.

It was a far cry from the bright, rainbow-covered JoJo we all grew to love.

“‘Karma’ is still an earworm,” Siwa was quoted in the mag, referencing her single that dropped five months ago. “It’s crazy that it still has some relevance five months later. And that’s the whole point.”

But while JoJo was clearly proud of her creative collaboration with photographer Hope Glassel, fans weren’t all on board.

Some followers took to social media to express their confusion — and let’s just say, they weren’t holding back. “No hate, I’m honestly just confused,” wrote one bewildered fan, while another joked: “It’s not a good day to have eyes.” Ouch.

Another added, “I’m uncomfortable,” and someone even quipped, “Raise your hand if you’ve ever been personally victimized by JoJo Siwa.”

“I don’t know who is managing her but they are ruining her career,” added another concerned Instagram user.

But, of course, not everyone was feeling the hate. Plenty of fans praised her for serving up something bold and different. “Omg, this is soooo camp, I’m loving it,” one fan gushed. Another pointed out, “If Lady Gaga did this, be honest y’all would eat it up.” Touché.

One commenter even crowned the shoot, “Legendary!!!!”

This wild transformation isn’t exactly new for JoJo. Just months ago, she shocked fans with a racy music video for her single ‘Karma’ and later hit the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards wearing a mesh body shirt with dramatic KISS-inspired makeup.

And while she’s faced her fair share of critics - and a scathing SNL skit - JoJo isn’t about to back down from blazing her own trail.

“No one has made this dramatic of a change yet,” she said on the red carpet at the GLAAD Awards. “No one has made, in my generation, this extreme of a switch. I am the first of the generation. It is very scary, but someone’s got to do it.”

Love her or hate her, JoJo Siwa is clearly here to push boundaries — and she’s not afraid to leave a few jaws on the floor along the way.
