In a series of now-deleted tweets on February 20, Grimes implored her ex-partner Elon Musk to address an urgent medical issue concerning one of their three children.
The 36-year-old musician, whose real name is Claire Boucher, expressed frustration over 53-year-old Musk's lack of response, stating, "Plz respond about our child's medical crisis. I'm sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention."

Grimes and Musk share three children: X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus. She did not specify which child is affected or the nature of the medical crisis.
In her tweets, Grimes emphasized the urgency, noting that their child could face "life long impairment" if the situation isn't addressed promptly.
She also mentioned that Musk had been unresponsive to her calls, texts, and emails, and had missed every scheduled meeting regarding their child's health.
This public plea comes amid ongoing tensions between the former couple. Recently, Grimes criticized Musk for taking their son, X Æ A-Xii, to the Oval Office without her knowledge, expressing concerns over their child's public exposure.

On February 11, the 53-year-old tech mogul attended President Donald Trump's Oval Office press conference at the White House with his four-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii.
Musk's son, whose name is pronounced 'X Ash A Twelve', was seen picking his nose, mimicking his father, and whispering to Trump while standing near the Resolute Desk.
Despite his antics, the child watched on as the 78-year-old officially granted his father Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) broader powers to reshape the federal government.
The executive order, signed in real time, requires agencies to cooperate with Musk’s DOGE division, which has already made headlines for slashing nearly $1 billion in US Department of Education contracts, as revealed in an X post.
This marks the second time the billionaire has brought Lil X into the political spotlight - the first being Trump’s pre-inauguration victory rally on January 19, where the toddler jumped around on stage wearing a red sweater.

The user had initially praised the child’s behavior, posting: "Lil X was very polite today!... You raised him well... He was so cute when he told DJT ‘Please forgive me, I need to pee.'"
Grimes responded with concern: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
