Gwyneth Paltrow is celebrating her 50th birthday!
In the lead-up to her big 5-0 on September 27, the actor and businesswoman took to the Goop website to pen a blog piece about how she no longer fears growing and looking older.
Citing her parents' - Blythe Danner and Bruce Paltrow - respective 50th birthdays as inspiration, the Marvel star wrote: "For both of my parents, 50 seemed like a reckoning. For my mother, it was a culmination of the wonderous, the highs, the loves, the art. For my father, a culmination of sorrows."
However, after accepting that she's probably got more days in front of her than behind her, Paltrow wrote: "There is something about the sweetness of life that exists deep within me that is unchanged, that will not change. It is the essence of the essence. It seems to be getting sweeter."
The wellness mogul also wrote about her acceptance of looking older, adding: "I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity."
And judging from the actor's birthday post, she is still certainly willing to live life to the absolute fullest and embrace her body:
Looking like Bond girl Jill Masterson in Goldfinger, the Shallow Hal star was covered top-to-toe in gold paint, as she posed elegantly in her birthday suit.
The amazing images were captured by photographer Andrew Yee, who also shared several shots to his Instagram page.
And, let's face it, she may be 50, but Paltrow doesn't look like she's aged a day in 20 years!
In just a matter of hours, the stunning post has amassed over 570,000 likes and more than 7,000 comments from birthday well-wishers and fans picking their jaws up off the floor.
"Oh YES to this," wrote fellow Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon, and socialite Paris Hilton sent her wishes, adding: "Happy birthday beautiful."
Paltrow is well known for her commitment to health and wellness. In 2008, she launched the wellness lifestyle brand Goop, which started out as a newsletter but has since expanded to include a podcast, a print magazine, pop-up shops, and a docuseries for Netflix.
In her blog post, Paltrow opened up about her hopes for the future, saying that she was looking forwards to taking things a little bit slower.
"I would like to slow down. I would like to retreat a little bit. I would like to make my circle smaller," she wrote. " I would like to cook dinner more. I would like to see misunderstandings become understandings. I would like to continue to open the deepest part of myself to my husband, even though it scares me."
