Hailey Bieber has opened up about the current state of her marriage to pop superstar Justin Bieber, revealing that the couple is focusing on patience and progress after a rocky period earlier this year.
In her new GQ cover story, the 28-year-old model said she and Justin, 31, are learning to take their relationship “a day at a time.” Despite previous rumors of trouble, Hailey said she feels “comfortable” with where they currently stand.
“We’re just taking it a day at a time,” she told the magazine. “Our life is very public, but I feel really comfortable about the way we’re sharing things, and not sharing things.”
Protecting Their Private Life as New Parents
Hailey also reflected on how becoming parents has shifted their perspective. The couple welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024 – and Hailey made it clear that protecting their baby boy is their top priority.
“We both feel very protective of our son and I don’t think that’s ever going to change,” she said. “But our life is our life, and it’s really public, so we’ll just cross every bridge when we get there.”
While Hailey admitted that fame makes privacy difficult, she said she and Justin are finally finding a healthy balance between public life and keeping things sacred within their family.

The Rhode founder also opened up about becoming a mother for the first time, admitting that nothing could have fully prepared her for the experience.
“I don’t think there’s anything someone can tell you about it that will ever really prepare you until you do it yourself,” she said.
Now, just months after giving birth, Hailey says she already feels more confident about the idea of expanding her family in the future. “I feel much more prepared to do it again,” she added, reflecting on how much she’s learned since welcoming Jack.
For Hailey, motherhood has been both a transformation and a lesson in surrender. “So much happens and changes,” she said. “You evolve in a totally different way that you can’t prepare for until you live it.”
