Hailey Beiber has opened up about the trust issues she experienced with her now-husband, Justin Bieber, in the first episode of their Facebook Watch show, The Biebers.
The couple tied the knot back in 2018, just months after they got back together following a drama-fuelled breakup two years prior. Now, as part of the premiere episode of The Biebers, the Sorry singer asked Hailey how she regained trust and confidence in him after their split, after which he got back together with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

The 10-minute debut episode premiered on Facebook Watch on Monday, following the pair as they embark on a boat trip around the lake on their house.
Justin and Hailey quickly started discussing their relationship, with the singer acknowledging that he caused Hailey "so much hurt and so much pain."

When he asked how she got through that, Hailey said she tried to "fill a void", not by jumping into another relationship, but by talking to others and "hanging out with’ her friends". She added, "I really let myself feel the emotions I was feeling."
The model did, however, recognise that they didn't end "on good terms", and conceded that she went through a "grieving process", detailing "You feel like you lose someone you really, really love and care about."
But she said that she was ultimately grateful for the breakup: "When I look back on it, it was the best thing that we took time apart and to do our own thing," as it allowed her to find herself, and develop her career.

The 23-year-old then proceeded to say that the reason she felt like Justin was finally ready for a relationship was because their mutual friend told her that he was "really working on [himself]’ and they were ‘really impressed’ by how he was living his life."
"You know, you were trying to keep to yourself. You weren’t on any like – if I am allowed to say this – fuck boy shit anymore," she added.
The pair concluded the episode by reiterating their love for each other, and saying that they would remember the boat trip "for the rest of [their] lives".
