Hugh Jackman's ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness has seemingly liked a post alleging that the actor was "running off with the mistress" during his marriage to her.
In September 2023, the Wolverine star and his former wife announced that they were ending their marriage after 27 years.
The couple, who met in 1995 on the set of the Australian TV series Corelli, share two kids, Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.
The pair released a statement about their separation, which read: "We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.
"Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
The statement, signed “Deb and Hugh Jackman," concluded: "This is the sole statement either of us will make."
On October 26, gossip blogger Tasha Lustig took to Instagram to share a video on the 56-year-old actor and his co-star, Sutton Foster.
“Do y’all remember when I told you this man was up to no good,” the content creator said, as she pointed to a picture of the Music Man costars looking cosy on a red carpet.
Check out the video below:Lustig went on to claim that Jackman had “blindsided” Furness by “running off with the mistress” and speculated that the Broadway stars were planning to “soft launch” their relationship in the public eye.
The post gained 1.4 million views and received 26,554 likes - with one of those allegedly being from Furness, who reportedly “liked” it from her private account, according to US Weekly.
The actress’s close friend, TV personality Amanda de Cadenet, also commented on the post: “You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!”
Sources alleged that the 49-year-old actress - who filed for divorce from Ted Griffin - and the X-Men star were romantically involved while they were married to other people.
“Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced,” an insider claimed to US Weekly. “A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people.
"Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap," they alleged, claiming that the pair are still going strong: “They are really happy now.”
