New claims have come to light after fans noticed Kim Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, appeared to delete photographs containing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their Instagram feed.
Kim and Kris had initially posted photos they'd taken with Harry and Meghan at Kris's 70th birthday party on Saturday night, but fans soon spotted that photos containing the pair were quickly scrubbed from the posts.
As of yet, neither the Kardashian-Jenners, nor the Sussexes, have addressed the reason for the posts being deleted publicly.
However, several theories have emerged in the wake of the quiet removal, with Page Six reporting that "royal insiders were appalled by the Sussexes’ appearance at Jenner’s birthday festivities".
Harry and Meghan had earlier attended the Baby2Baby Gala to support their friend Serena Williams, before heading over to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s $175 million Beverly Hills mansion for Kris's shindig.
They were photographed holding hands as they arrived, alongside other celebrities including Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Paris Hilton, Tyler Perry, Mark Zuckerberg and more.
According to the outlet, Harry's attendance at the event allegedly ruffled a few feathers in royal circles, as a source claimed: "It’s so tacky. It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family.
"These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy."
However, according to reports from TMZ, the reason why the posts were removed - including others featuring different celebrities - could be pretty simple.
The outlet claims that the Kardashian-Jenners likely deleted the posts because they had been shared the day after the party, which happened to be Remembrance Sunday in the UK.
Remembrance Sunday is held in the United Kingdom on the second Sunday in November each year to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.
According to TMZ, several images were deleted as the family thought it may be better to remove them than to "push something that could get picked up and misconstrued across the pond".
Harry, who served in the military from 2005 until 2015, was seen wearing a poppy in honor of the day as he arrived at the party.
That wasn't the only drama that surrounded Kris's party, however, as the police were also called to the event several times on the night.
According to TMZ, officers were dispatched to the venue after nearby residents complained about the loud music.
Sources reported that the noise was “off the charts,” thanks to a live performance by Bruno Mars, which sent the star-studded crowd into a frenzy.
Under California law, noise complaints in residential areas are taken seriously, especially after 10PM, and police reportedly spoke with security at the event, issuing a warning about the volume.
However, police were called again later in the evening after learning that large decorative hedges had been placed outside the property to block off the street.
The artificial greenery, which required a permit that the hosts did not have, was ordered to be removed as dozens of celebrities were leaving the lavish bash.
