Jack Harlow has found himself at the center of social media mockery following his halftime performance at the Lions-Packers NFL game in Detroit on Thanksgiving night. The highly-anticipated gig turned into a subject of relentless criticism as fans expressed their disappointment and frustration.

Harlow took to the field with the aim of delivering an electrifying halftime show featuring some of his hit tracks. However, it quickly became apparent that the performance did not meet the audience's expectations.

Barstool Sports labeled Harlow's appearance as "one of the worst halftime performances your eyes will ever see," setting the tone for the widespread criticism that followed.

Viewers took to social media to share their disappointment, focusing on several aspects of the performance that left them unimpressed. From Harlow's off-pitch singing to the questionable choice of a backup dancer and the appearance of a budget set, nothing seemed to escape criticism.

One social media user humorously quipped, "This Jack Harlow set budget was like 36 dollars," as the singer emerged from what appeared to be a white paper tent designed to resemble an igloo. Another likened the set to something from a "middle school play," emphasizing its cheap and uninspiring look.

Adding to the confusion was a blue-hatted backup dancer who shared the stage with Harlow. Some viewers were left bewildered by the dancer's presence and role in the performance.

"I legitimately thought the dude in the blue fur hat was the worst ASL translator ever for the first minute of the Jack Harlow halftime performance," one critic amusingly remarked.

The disappointment didn't stop at criticism; social media users took to sharing memes and humorous posts to express their feelings about the halftime show. One user posted a GIF from Jurassic Park, featuring Jeff Goldblum standing beside a massive pile of feces, with the caption, "Watching the Jack Harlow halftime show."

A final commenter didn't hold back while sharing their thoughts on the performance, writing in no uncertain terms: "That Jack Harlow halftime show may have been the worst halftime show in the history of Thanksgiving day halftime shows."

While Harlow's performance fell flat, another music icon, Dolly Parton, received praise for her appearance at a different NFL game on Thanksgiving Day. The 77-year-old country star delighted the crowd in Texas as she donned a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader outfit during the game against the Washington Commanders.

In contrast to Harlow's performance, Parton's appearance was met with enthusiasm and admiration, showcasing the stark contrast between the two halftime shows.

As the online roasting of Harlow's performance continues, it remains to be seen how the artist will respond to the overwhelmingly negative feedback from fans and critics alike.
