Jennifer Aniston shares powerful photo of friend to warn of coronavirus dangers
Jennifer Aniston has taken to social media to share a harrowing photograph of a friend in a bid to persuade people to wear a face mask in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Face masks have become a hotly contested issue, with many accepting public health recommendations and wearing masks in public in a bid to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Others, however, argue that face masks impair their individual freedoms and rail against them to that end.
Indeed, it was only recently that President Trump wore a face mask in public for the first time.

"I've never been against masks but I do believe they have a time and a place," he said as he left the White House, the BBC reported at the time.
As time has gone on, more and more celebrities have been speaking out to urge people to don a face covering while out and about in public, and now Jennifer Anniston has taken to Instagram to share a stark reminder of the dangers of coronavirus with her followers.
She wrote;
"This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, not one underlying health issue. This is Covid. This is real. ⠀
⠀
"We can't be so naive to think we can outrun this...if we want this to end, and we do, right? The one step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask.⠀
⠀
"Just think about those who've already suffered through this horrible virus. Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages."PS this photo was taken in early April. Thank god he has almost recovered now. Thank you all for your prayers"

And this isn't the first time Aniston has taken to social media in a bid to encourage her followers to wear a face mask. She previously shared an image of herself alongside the caption: "I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable."
"But don't you feel that it's worse that businesses are shutting down... jobs are being lost... health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren't doing enough."
She continued: "I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this. BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe.

"People seem worried about their 'rights being taken away' by being asked to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples' lives. And it really shouldn't be a debate. If you care about human life, please... just #wearadamnmask and encourage those around you to do the same."
