Jennifer Lopez was questioned about her relationship amid ongoing rumors about the star and her husband allegedly getting divorced - and let's just say her answer spoke volumes.
Over the past few weeks, a handful of sources have spoken to multiple outlets about the superstar couple and how they have been experiencing some difficulties in their marriage.
On May 16, TMZ reported that Affleck had been staying at a home in Brentwood by himself, which was then later confirmed by sources who spoke to Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight.
"Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage," an insider told Us Weekly of Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51. "They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour."

“Jen is very focused on work,” the source added, revealing that her attention is on her tour that is set to commence next month. "They are on two completely different pages most of the time."
Around the same time Entertainment Tonight also confirmed that while their relationship is "not over yet", they have been spending time apart.
"...They have been staying in different homes, and the tension has been high," the source told the outlet. "They are taking a second to figure out what each of them is going through and wants. Both of them have been very down."

In the midst of the swirling rumors, Lopez has been spotted on the red carpet for her latest movie, Atlas.
The star appeared solo on both occasions; the first in Los Angeles and the second in Mexico City, with whispers of her lone appearance once again fueling rumors further.

However, at a follow-up fan event in Mexico, a reporter decided to question the 'On The Floor' singer about her marriage and received a pretty painful answer as a result.
During the conference, she was bluntly asked what the "situation" was between her and her husband, to which she laughed for a second before hitting back with: "You know better than that."

Her costar Simu Liu also scolded the question, saying into the mic: "Okay, we're not doing that. C'mon, don't come in here with that."
Liu also redirected the attention to something else altogether, taking the heat away from Lopez.
A clip of the interaction was later reposted to Instagram where it divided users, with some stating that her answer only proves that there must be some truth to the situation, while others slammed the reporter for being so rude and careless with his line of questioning, especially when the star was there to talk about her movie, not her personal life.
Whatever happens, we hope both Lopez and Affleck continue living happy and fulfilling lives.
