With the unfortunate physical altercation that took place onstage at the Oscars on Sunday night, the more heartwarming moments at the event have been overshadowed.
One such moment was one where Jamie Lee Curtis walked onto the stage at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre holding a gorgeous pup as she paid tribute to the life and career of the late Golden Girls star Betty White, a well-known animal lover, during the In Memoriam segment.
Curtis mentioned in the emotional segment that the little canine, named Mac-N-Cheese, was up for adoption in honor of White, who died in December at the age of 99.
Check out the moment Curtis cradles an adorable dog on stage at the Oscars:Yesterday, the day after the Oscars, Travolta took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and his son, 11-year-old Ben, holding the dog, confirming in the caption that his young son had adopted the animal.
He wrote in the caption: "Ben adopted this dog from last [night's] Oscar tribute to Betty White. Thank you @curtisleejamie & @pawworks."
The post has since racked up hundreds of thousands of likes and nearly 7,000 comments, with fans of the 68-year-old Grease star gushing over the latest addition to the Travolta family.
