In a video posted over the summer, JoJo Siwa responded to the bizarre pregnancy rumors she'd somehow become the subject of.
Around June time, accounts on TikTok began spreading rumors that Siwa was expecting, with users claiming the teenager had posted a positive pregnancy test on her Instagram account.
"Someone tell me the truth immediately, JoJo Siwa is pregnant?" one TikToker captioned a video. "Wait so jojo siwa is pregnant," another asked in their video.
Months after the speculation was sparked, Siwa took to the app herself in order to dispel the baseless rumors.
Check out how she responded below:"Apparently, I'm pregnant," Siwa says in comical disbelief as she looks out of a car door window. "God I love TikTok."
The TikTok video, in which the backing track of Dua Lipa's 'Levitating' can be heard in the background, has since racked up more than 5 million likes and over 55,000 comments.
A number of Siwa's 44 million followers appeared not to detect Siwa's sarcasm in the video, with some of them admitting to initially believing the 19-year-old actually was pregnant.
For example, one person wrote: "I actually thought you were serious until you said 'god I love tiktok.'"
Another said: "for like 10 seconds I thought she was serious then I remembered 😂"
A third commented: "I just audibly screamed 'WHAT' and it echoed through my dorm hallway…😂"
A fourth tried to clear up the confusion, writing: "To y’all who are still confused, she’s being sarcastic because she finally saw the wack rumor on Tik Tok that she was pregnant (she’s not💀😂)"
Other commenters took the opportunity to inject some levity into the situation, with one person writing: "wellll congratulations!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I swear u find out something new about yourself Everytime u open this app!! 😂😂."
In other news, Siwa recently confirmed that she is now dating fellow TikTok star Avery Cyrus following her split from Kylie Prew.
The Dance Moms alum shared a wholesome video on her TikTok page on September 12 of her and Cyrus, 22, posed together in a photo booth, grinning and eventually kissing.
Siwa captioned the video, "Happiest girl," which was no surprise to fans who have been speculating that the two were together for weeks now as they've started appearing in one another's videos.
