Jude Law has recreated an iconic scene from The Holiday, much to the delight of fans around the world.

As Christmas fast approaches, people will be diving headfirst into their favorite festive movies.

People will argue until they're blue in the face about what the best Christmas flick is, but there are some notable names.

Titles like Elf, Love Actually, and The Grinch pop up every year... but there's another rom-com that has a fond place in people's hearts.

The Holiday features an iconic soundtrack and effortlessly blends the best of US and British romantic storytelling.

Well, fans of the movie have been treated by one of the main actors this year.

Jude Law, who famously portrayed widower Graham in the 2006 romantic comedy, reunited with director Nancy Meyers to mark a career milestone.

On Thursday, Meyers celebrated Law’s newly awarded star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by taking him out to lunch, where the pair reflected on the film that captured hearts worldwide.

In a social media post, Meyers shared a clip of their lunch, teasing fans about the possibility of revisiting the holiday favorite.

“Look who I’m having lunch with today - Jude Law!” Meyers exclaimed in the video.

“Congratulations on your so well-deserved star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That’s amazing. I don’t think I’ve seen you since we wrapped The Holiday. Speaking of which, I’ve seen you interviewed a lot, and they keep asking you if there’s going to be a sequel. What do you think?”

Law responded with an exaggerated sigh, placing his napkin and glasses atop his head in homage to his character's "Mr. Napkin Head" moment from the film.

Meyers laughed and asked: “Is that a yes, Jude?” while Law shook his head.

Fans, naturally, were very excited by this.

One person wrote: "For the love of god, please give us a sequel. We are dying without a new Nancy Meyers movie!!!"

Another said: "This is not the time of year to be messing around with our hearts, Nancy!"

While a third added: "It’s one of his best roles after the talented Mr. Ripely. We need another Nancy Meyers classic."

This isn’t the first time Jude Law has hinted at interest in reprising his role.

Speaking at New York City’s Tribeca Festival in June, Law shared: “I love the idea,” when asked about a sequel, per the Daily Mail.

Reflecting on his character, Graham, Law joked that little would have changed over the years. “I think Graham still has cardigans and glasses, and reads,” he said. “He’s probably worried sick about the girls, right? The daughters will be 28, 29.”

In the original film, Graham, a widowed book editor, falls in love with Hollywood producer Amanda (played by Cameron Diaz) after she swaps homes with Surrey-based journalist Iris (Kate Winslet) for the holidays. Iris, in turn, finds romance with Miles (Jack Black).

Time for a rewatch!
