On Wednesday, April 2, the 'Peaches' singer gave his mom Pattie Mallette a shoutout for her milestone 50th birthday with a nostalgic Instagram post that has left fans doing a double-take.

“50 MOMMMMMMMM luv that I get to be ur son,” the 31-year-old wrote alongside a childhood pic of Pattie beaming in what looks like a classic school photo. “Happy bday @pattiemallette.”

Pattie jumped into the comments to show her love back, writing: “Love you so much!”

Hailey Bieber also jumped in — she reposted Justin’s sweet tribute on her own Instagram Stories with a heartfelt note of her own: "Happy Birthday @pattiemallette I love you so much!!"

But it wasn’t just the adorable message that got everyone talking. The internet couldn’t help but notice the family resemblance, with fans pointing out that Justin is basically Pattie’s twin.

"Sorry but i thought its an edit of you justin in’a wig," one person wrote.

A second person added: "Oh she legit said copy paste," while a third said: "Justin Bieber in a wig."

Pattie, who shares Justin with her ex Jeremy Bieber, has been reflecting hard on this milestone birthday.

Earlier in the week, she posted an outdoor portrait on Instagram, paired with an emotional caption about turning 50 — and embracing every chapter that led her here.

“Turning 50 this week has me wondering how the heck I got here so fast — when I look back, I see the years like pages of a well-worn book — the restless twenties, the building thirties, the unraveling and becoming of my forties — each chapter marked by grace I didn’t always see at the time,” she wrote.

“I’ve laughed, lost, loved, and learned more than I ever imagined.”

And while she's looking back, she’s also looking ahead with hope and confidence.

“Now here, I don’t long to go back — I stand still, aware. Aware of how far I’ve come, how deeply I’ve been shaped, and how faithful God has been through it all,” she said. “I don’t feel done — I feel ready. This isn’t just the next chapter. It’s a new beginning. One I’m stepping into with strength, clarity, and the quiet confidence that God has been preparing me all along — and the best isn’t behind me. It’s still to come.”

Her own birthday comes just weeks after she celebrated Justin’s 31st in March — with a heartfelt poem.

“Son, I spent half my life chasin’ you around, From climbin’ too high to standin’ your ground, you never backed down," she wrote alongside a carousel of baby-to-grown-up snaps.

“Now a husband and father, you’ve come a long way, But I still hear that little voice say, ‘Mom, can you pray?’ ”

She wrapped it with a line that hits especially hard for any parent watching their child grow up: “Happy 31, now you know, How fast the years and the little feet go. But as you raise him, don’t you forget, God’s still raisin’ you - He ain’t done with you yet.”
