Kelsey Grammer, beloved actor known for his iconic role as Dr. Frasier Crane, has announced the birth of his eighth child, a son named Christopher, with his fourth wife, Kayte Walsh.
At 70 years old, Grammer shared the news during a recent appearance on the Pod Meets World podcast.
"Just had our fourth one, so it just became eight kids!" Kelsey gushed during the episode. "It was like three days ago. Christopher just joined the family."
With this latest addition, Kelsey and Kayte now have four children together: Faith, 13; Kelsey Gabriel, 11; Auden James, eight; and their newborn, Christopher.
A Growing Family
Kelsey and Kayte's growing family comes after months of anticipation.
Four months ago, the Daily Mail confirmed that the couple was expecting. According to a source, the pregnancy seemed to rekindle the spark between them.
"Kelsey is thrilled to finally have time to fully enjoy being a father all over again," a source shared. "This will be their fourth child together, and with Kelsey's other children from his past marriages, their new bundle of joy will have so much love."

At 46, Kayte has supported Kelsey as they navigate their shared family life.
The couple, who have been married for 14 years, reflected on their journey together and the joy of raising children in their blended family.
Kelsey, who has experienced fatherhood multiple times, shared how much this new chapter means to him.
Kelsey's Fatherhood Journey
This latest addition to the family marks the eighth child for Kelsey, who first became a father in 1983 during his marriage to Doreen Alderman.
Their daughter Spencer, now 42, was born during their two-year marriage, which ended in 1990.
Following that, Kelsey welcomed a daughter, Kandace Greer, 33, from his brief relationship with makeup artist Barrie Buckner.
He also has two children from his 13-year marriage to third wife Camille Meyer: Mason, 24, and Jude, 21.
Throughout his journey, Kelsey has cherished being a father, finding immense fulfillment in his role as a parent.
He has worked closely with his children in the entertainment industry, particularly in recent years.
Last year, Kelsey starred alongside his daughter Greer in the Frasier revival, and also worked with his daughter Spencer in the Lifetime movie The 12 Days of Christmas Eve.

In an interview with Variety last year, he shared: "Kayte and I were talking about how it's really something that a child would follow in their father's footsteps.
"To think that all my kids, at least the ones that have a hand in the air, are ready to take responsibility for their lives, are all drawn to this industry.
"And she said, 'That's something to be proud of.' It's something I've never told them. I'm hoping they're going to read [my upcoming memoir] and realise, 'Oh, so Dad's okay with this.'"
Despite being a highly recognizable public figure, Kelsey has always been careful not to impose his career on his children, acknowledging the challenges that come with being part of a famous family.
"Because it's a bit of a mixed blessing to have my last name. People take it out on you. You get some attention maybe because of it. And there's a split as to whether or not it's good or bad," he explained.
However, Kelsey emphasized that the greatest gift he can offer his children is the love and wisdom he's gained from his life experiences.
He noted that he feels happiest when all of his children are together in the same room, a rare but cherished moment for the actor.
"My work has allowed me to be able to do that," he reflected. "I've been given this great experience. It's been painful and challenging and hard and tragic — all those things. But boy, it's a great life. And I want to pass that on to them."
