The second youngest Kardashian sister, Kendall Jenner, has finally quashed rumors that she has undergone plastic surgery but admitted what it is that subtly changed her facial structure.
Model Jenner, 30, appeared on an episode of actor Owen Thiele’s In Your Dreams podcast, where she discussed whether she has ever had cosmetic surgery after videos of so-called experts ‘breaking down’ every augmentation she's apparently had continue to circle on social media.
Despite the rumors sparked by the viral videos, the founder of 818 Tequila claims she has not had anything done under the knife.
Speaking to Thiele, she said: “I’ve never had plastic surgery on my face. I’ve never had any work done. The only thing I’ve done twice is baby Botox in my forehead.
“I didn’t love it and I don’t love it and I consider it sometimes… if anything I did it to [minimize] fine lines.”
The A-lister who has modelled for Marc Jacobs, Fendi, and Victoria’s Secret, Jenner has appeared in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Pepsi, also called the videos of experts predicting celebrities’ surgeries “damaging”.
Jenner said: “It can affect young people in such an interesting way because they see that and they think ‘that’s what I have to do to look like that?’ And they rush and do something silly at a young age.”
Addressing the most common accusation, that she has had a nose job, she admitted, “The nose job allegations I’ve gotten? I would believe them if I wasn’t me. I look at old photos of me and it does look like I’ve had a nose job.
“I swear to God on everything that I love, I’ve never had a nose job,”
Daughter of the ultimate momager, Kris Jenner, and former athlete-turned-TV personality, Caitlyn Jenner, the supermodel puts her nasal change down to a medication she took as a teen.
Jenner claims she just ‘grew into’ her nose, and believes that it may have changed slightly over time because she used acne medication in her youth.
“There’s a theory on TikTok that Accutane shrinks your nose and you guys, I swear to God it’s true,” she explained on the podcast.
However, board-certified dermatologist, Dr Amit Om, claims that prescription acne medications such as Accutane cannot reduce your nose’s bone or cartilage; therefore, its actual structure will not change.
Despite not being able to change bone structure, Dr Om told Miiskin that the effects it has on the skin, including oil production, shrinking sebaceous glands, and decreasing inflammation and swelling, can make your nose appear smaller.
Although viewers of the early seasons of Keeping up with the Kardashians, which documented Jenner’s entire childhood, may find her claims hard to believe, she has finally put the rumors to bed.
