Kim Kardashian compared to the Hulk after revealing green Christmas Day dress

The Kardashian-Jenner clan is known, amongst other things, for being pretty daring as far as their fashion sense is concerned - particularly Kim Kardashian-West.

And Christmas Day of 2020 was certainly no exception for the woman who once "broke the Internet".

Indeed, the 40-year-old socialite celebrated the festive holiday at her older sister Kourtney's home wearing a green dress, which according to the people of the internet reminded them of fictional characters such as the Hulk and the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles.

Kim's outfit was made up of two halves - the top half is a dark green torso-hugging piece - complete with what very much resembles a set of washboard abs. The bottom half is a lime green sarong.

The ensemble was made by design house Schiaparelli, and appears to have been molded by its creative director Daniel Roseberry. Kim even tagged him in a tweet featuring the dress.

Including images of her outfit, Kim tweeted: "A special thanks to @danielroseberry @schiaparelli for my amazing gown that made me feel festive this year even though our Christmas Eve party was cancelled [sic]."

"It was perfect to dress up and celebrate w just the fam this year," she added. "I hope everyone had a healthy and happy holiday."

The reality star also wished her fans a "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"

However, while there was nothing jokey or tongue-in-cheek about Kim's outfit from her perspective, her fans had an absolute field day!

"Is it just me or did Kim Kardashian dress up like a teenage mutant ninja turtle for Christmas???????" author Dana Schwartz tweeted.

Other Twitter users felt she resembled the Hulk more than she did the Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles.

One fan wondered: "But why is she dressed as the hulk and wearing eggplant earrings..."

Another asked: "Why is no one talking about the fact Kim Kardashian skinned the hulk alive and wore his abs to Christmas dinner?"

A third person prefaced their roasting of Kim K with an apology, writing: "I’m sorry bc I love you and no hate but this Looks like the female Hulk."

In one of her tweets from Christmas Day, Kim revealed that she felt her outfit channeled The Grinch - as opposed to the two characters social media users compared her to.

Indeed, she posted a photo of herself with her younger sister Kylie who was wearing a red dress, writing: "Merry Christmas from The Grinch and Santa."
