Kim Kardashian has admitted that she struggled with motherhood after she split up from Kanye West, but credits Tristan Thompson for stepping up.
In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim candidly discussed her experiences as a single mom and came to the defense of Tristan, her sister Khloe's ex-partner.
Tristan, who has faced criticism for his past infidelities during his relationship with Khloe, found an unexpected ally in Kim.
While Khloe and Tristan are no longer romantically involved, they continue to co-parent their two children, five-year-old daughter True and one-year-old son Tatum.

In a recent episode, Kim was asked in a confessional interview about her thoughts on Tristan's past as a serial cheater and she didn't hold back as she shared her perspective on the matter.

"Oh, I know guys are gonna hate me for this and you’re gonna hate us and you’re gonna think Khloe is whatever… It’s so crazy because he’s such a good friend and he’s such a good Dad… but he just couldn’t get it together in that area, of like being a faithful boyfriend," Kim said.
She continued: "So it’s like you wanna obviously like hate him for that. Yeah, of course, his actions and who he was, like so f***ed up."
Kim also disclosed that she and Tristan have had their fair share of discussions, disagreements, and arguments over the years. However, she didn't hesitate to stand up for him when it came to his qualities as a friend and support system.
"But he’s also shown so many decent things and just has been a really good person and friend. When he saw me struggling with my kids, he stepped up," Kim said.
She highlighted how Tristan has been actively involved in her children's lives, attending their games, picking up her son Saint, taking them out for dinner, and even coming to her defense in situations involving her ex-husband, Kanye.
"I just like never forgot that, so it’s like, I’ll never really throw someone away and act like I don’t feel like they can’t grow and evolve," Kim concluded in her confession.

Tragically, Tristan faced a personal loss when his mother, Andrea, passed away suddenly in January. This devastating event led him to become the primary caregiver for his teenage brother Amari, who suffers from epilepsy.
Khloe shared the heartbreaking details about Amari's condition, stating that he is 16 years old and wheelchair-bound. She added: "He has the most severe type of epilepsy," explaining that Amari had experienced numerous seizures daily, causing severe brain damage that has left him unable to walk or communicate.
Khloe also expressed concerns for Amari's future, saying: "He’s in a really, like, scary place because once he hits age 20, is when it will be really bad if we can’t have any improvements."
