The 50-year-old Titanic star and his friends were seen being held up by Spanish authorities before entering an exclusive party hosted by tequila company Patron and Spanish actor/singer Aron Piper. The moment was captured in a video obtained by the Daily Mail.

DiCaprio, dressed in an all-black outfit with a signature baseball cap and chain, looked at his phone while waiting for his turn to be searched.

A woman in the background could be heard commenting: “They are searching me full-on right now,” though it’s unclear whether the woman was DiCaprio’s girlfriend, 27-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, who was with him in Ibiza.

An insider exclusively told Page Six that DiCaprio was not singled out by the police.

“Every single person was patted down and ID’d,” they explained, adding that there were many notable figures at the party, but the Spanish cops just didn’t initially recognize the Hollywood star.

Another source told Daily Mail: "Stars are just like us, Leo was one of many famous faces at the event, and even he gets doubted at the door. The police did a double-take when Leo checked in. He was kind and joking with them."

DiCaprio's group was eventually let into the exclusive event, which was held at a private villa on the party island.

Other celebs, including Kendall Jenner and DiCaprio’s best friend Tobey Maguire, were able to attend, but rapper Travis Scott was not so lucky as he was denied entry, according to the outlet.

The Oscar-winning actor and Ceretti met at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where his Martin Scorsese movie Killers Of The Flower Moon was premiering.

In June, the couple was photographed boarding Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s mega yacht, and also attended their extravagant wedding in Venice, Italy, where Ceretti experienced a fashion mishap in her vintage Dolce & Gabbana gown, which was originally worn by Gisele Bündchen at the 2003 Met Gala.

She shared the moment on Instagram Stories, showing a humorous "how it started vs. how it’s going" comparison, revealing a rip in her dress that worsened as the night went on.

The wedding celebration also featured a lively afterparty, with A-listers like Oprah Winfrey, Mick Jagger, and Kris Jenner partying into the early hours. Usher performed a live set of his greatest hits, even joining the crowd on the dance floor.
