Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend - model Vittoria Ceretti - experienced a fashion faux pas while celebrating the lavish wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice over the weekend.
The Italian model initially appeared in high spirits as she left Venice’s Gritti Palace Hotel on Saturday evening, dressed in the now-infamous gown and carrying a matching clutch.

Her straight, sleek hairstyle completed the look, a nod to red carpet history, as the dress was originally worn by Gisele Bündchen to the 2003 Met Gala (interestingly enough, another ex-girlfriend of DiCaprio).
Ceretti, 27, took to Instagram Stories to share a humorous “how it started vs. how it’s going” moment, revealing a rip in her vintage Dolce & Gabbana gown. Though it’s unclear exactly when the tear occurred, it seems the festivities got the best of the dress, as the rip became significantly larger as the night wore on.
Later that night, the newlyweds threw a luxe nightwear-themed afterparty, which quickly turned into an A-list dance fest. DiCaprio, 50, went for a more relaxed ensemble, wearing silk pajamas paired with a blazer and his signature baseball cap.
According to sources, the celebration was a wild one, with stars like Oprah Winfrey, Mick Jagger, Kris Jenner, Gayle King, and Sydney Sweeney partying into the early hours. Usher, a close friend of Bezos and Sánchez, performed a live set of his greatest hits, even stepping offstage to join the crowd on the dance floor.

Insiders said Kris Jenner and her partner Corey Gamble, along with fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee Ocleppo, were among the night’s most enthusiastic dancers. Jessica Seinfeld was also spotted tearing it up on the dance floor, according to Page Six.
Speaking of the Jenners, baby sister Kylie Jenner has faced backlash online for her choice of outfit to the wedding.
The reality star was seen getting into a water taxi wearing a long, silver dress with a corset design as she boarded a water taxi, requiring a hand from the waiting staff due to the restrictive nature of her outfit.
And while she looked undeniably stunning, many people were divided over whether the dress was appropriate, given that it looked a lot like a wedding dress itself.
They took to social media to share their thoughts, writing: "By turning up in white — and so vulgarly dressed — at another woman’s wedding, she proved her total lack of sophistication, her cluelessness about the simplest rules of decorum, and her insatiable hunger to be the star of a day that was never hers."
Others added: "Trashy and insulting. ANYONE with a modicum of intelligence knows it is massively inappropriate to wear white to a wedding," and: "It looks silvery white to me. It is very inappropriate wedding attire and tacky but that is a Kardashian for you."
Earlier in the weekend, DiCaprio and Ceretti attended the official wedding ceremony on San Giorgio Maggiore island. Ceretti wore a sleek black gown with her hair pulled into an elegant bun, while DiCaprio opted for a classic black tuxedo, keeping things low-key with, once again, his trademark baseball cap.
