The singer took to Instagram on Tuesday, February 19, to showcase her slimmer physique as part of her ongoing weight loss journey.
The 36-year-old artist posted a mirror selfie alongside a series of memes and text posts.
“Me myself & all my Memes," she captioned the post.
In the image, Lizzo is seen wearing a black bra and underwear, snapping a photo of her reflection with a pink selfie stick.
Her hair is styled down, and she accessorizes with gold hoop earrings and light makeup. Facing away from the mirror, she looks over her shoulder for the shot.
Among the additional images in the carousel was a screenshot of a blue text bubble reading: "Imma crash out."
Lizzo has been vocal about her approach to weight loss, often describing it as "weight release."
On January 25, she shared another Instagram post celebrating a personal milestone.
"I did it," she wrote. "Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014!"
She added an encouraging message for her followers: "Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!"
Accompanying the post was an image of Lizzo in a dark red two-piece workout set, along with a graphic highlighting her progress.
She revealed that she had lowered her body mass index by 10.5 and reduced her body fat by 16% since beginning her journey in January 2024.
Lizzo has long been an advocate for body positivity, self-love, and acceptance. However, she has recently embraced what she calls “weight release,” a term she says reflects a more holistic and balanced approach to health and wellness.
The singer first shared her transformation publicly in September 2024, posting a TikTok video showcasing her progress.
The clip featured a side-by-side comparison—first showing Lizzo in a black two-piece before transitioning to a gray bodysuit that highlighted her toned physique. She captioned the post with a Nicki Minaj quote: “Fine both ways.”
Since then, the Truth Hurts singer has continued updating her followers on her journey.
In November, she shared a lighthearted Instagram video featuring her mother, Shari Johnson-Jefferson, with both of them sporting matching braided hairstyles.
"My mom stole my hairstyle & ate me up," she joked in the caption.
While Lizzo has been a vocal supporter of the body positivity movement, she has more recently spoken about evolving her perspective toward "body neutrality."
In a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, she explained: "The idea of body positivity, it's moved away from the antiquated mainstream conception. It’s evolved into body neutrality."

She also described her weight loss journey as a natural and intentional process, emphasizing consistency over quick results.
"I'm taking the time every day to put some love into my body," she shared. "There is never a day when I regret taking a walk or doing some Pilates."
Despite her success, Lizzo acknowledges that her feelings about her body can fluctuate.
"I’m not going to lie and say I love my body every day,” she admitted. “The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day... There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don’t feel completely positive.”
