Olajide Olatunji, better known by KSI, is probably the biggest YouTuber in the UK - and it's a title he's willing to defend.
With 18 million subscribers and almost four million followers on Twitter to his name since he started his YouTube channel back in 2009, he mostly focuses on gaming and football - but has branched out into music with a series of football rap battles. He's also stepped into the arena for a literal battle too.
In February, KSI fought vlogger Joe Weller at the Copper Box Arena in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with the fight amassing over 20 million views across both their YouTube streams (15 mil just from KSI's). Only a month later, he announced his next rival:
Logan Paul.
With 17 million YouTube subscribers, 4 million Twitter followers, and almost as many controversies to his name, Paul has been in the news a lot in 2018.
He filmed the dead body of a man who had completed suicide, tased two dead rats for the views, issued numerous empty public apologies and offended the entirety of Japan with his videos.
KSI's choice to take this charming fella on wasn't that big of a surprise, considering their ongoing feud online.
After the announcement was made, Logan's brother Jake gave his two cents. Jake, a similarly 'gifted' individual, graces the internet with videos like the 'I cheated on my wife prank,' and one in which the 21-year-old, his dad, and several blindfolded women half the age of the parent took part in a kissing contest. Once the feud hit an all-time high, Jake suggested that KSI take on his father.
"After Calling Me & My Brother @LoganPaul Out For NO Reason & Saying You'd Fight ANY Person With The Last Name of Paul," he tweeted. "Be a Man of ur word, represent England, & fight My 55yr old dad".
He even said he and Logan would pay $50,000 for going ahead with the match - but the British YouTuber had other plans.
Now that the fight between KSI and Logan Paul is officially going ahead in Manchester next month, they've started to have press conferences in which they can talk trash about one another.
The second press conference, held in York Hall in East London, clearly went in the British YouTuber's favour. Donald Trump didn't exactly get the warmest welcome when he visited the country earlier this month, and Paul received a similar response.
The highlights of the press conference were uploaded by both YouTubers to their channels; the event ending with Paul storming off stage. KSI pulled no punches, claiming he'd show Paul's new girlfriend, actress Chloe Bennet, "a real man," and introducing him by saying:
"Welcome to London, motherf***er. We lost to Croatia, we had Donald Trump come over and now we got you. Hasn't England suffered enough?"
He then went for Logan's father, referencing the aforementioned Jake Paul video where mid-fifties father kissed women younger than half his age.
"You said you'd beat me in a fight but you wouldn't do shit," he told the man. "I'm sure you'd like a round with those little girls you like kissing. You sick, deadbeat bald-headed pr**k."
"What the f**k is up with your sperm?" he then added, referring to the sons he spawned, both of whom have just as many detractors as they do fans.
It wasn't long before Paul took his cue to leave, especially since the crowd was definitely not on his side. "I feel like KSI addressed everything, London I'm out," he said before dropping the mic. "I'll see you August 25th".
Compere True Geordie claimed Paul was so wound up that he was on the verge of tears. "I swear to god mate, he was gone," he told Metro. "I thought he was going to cry."
The fight will go down on August 25 and will be a pay-per-view event, and will undoubtedly draw a huge amount of viewers.
So whose side are you on? I can't say I wouldn't love to see Logan lose after the year he's had...
