People have been calling for Donald Trump's brief cameo in Home Alone 2 to be removed and now the star of the film, Macaulay Culkin, has got behind the idea too.
On the off chance that your memory needs refreshing, the outgoing president briefly appeared in the classic 1992 film to give Kevin McCalister (Macaulay Culkin) directions as he walks through a hotel lobby.
Responding to a tweet that read: "Petition to digitally replace Trump in Home Alone 2 with 40-year-old Macaulay Culkin." The actor replied: "Sold."
Meanwhile, other social media users have been suggesting alternate ways that Trump's cameo can be removed from the film.
One Twitter user suggested: "Replace Donald Trump in Home Alone 2 with Danny Devito."
Another suggested that Jabba the Hutt would be an appropriate replacement.
They wrote: "Put George Lucas in charge of remastering Home Alone 2. Jabba the Hutt to replace Trump, obviously. Kevin is an Ewok now. The Pigeon Lady is a giant CGI pigeon."
A third added: "In order to heal the great divide in America we need to have the strength, the deep bravery of love, to do what is truly difficult and replace the Trump cameo in Home Alone 2 with Matthew Lillard’s Shaggy Rogers from Scooby-Doo (2002)."
Meanwhile, following the news of Trump's second impeachment, a fourth simply joked: "BREAKING: Trump becomes first actor from Home Alone 2 to be impeached twice."

This comes after the movie's director, Christopher Columbus, revealed that Donald Trump had specifically requested to be in the film and only gave the crew permission film in the Plaza on the condition that he could have a cameo.
Columbus told Insider: "Like most locations in New York City, you just pay a fee and you are allowed to shoot in that location. We approached The Plaza Hotel, which Trump owned at the time, because we wanted to shoot in the lobby.
"We paid the fee, but he also said, 'The only way you can use the Plaza is if I'm in the movie'.
