Megan Fox has recently shed light on her personal battles in her new book of poetry, Pretty Boys are Poisonous.

In an intimate interview with Good Morning America, Fox delved into the heart-wrenching ordeal of suffering a miscarriage with her fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, an event that has significantly shaped their journey together.

"I had never been through anything like that before in my life," said Fox, a mother of three, revealing the profound impact this loss had on her and MGK, also known as Colson Baker.

The emotional rollercoaster that followed tested their relationship, leading them on a tumultuous path "together and apart."

Fox's literary debut is more than a poetic endeavor; it's a raw exposition of the trials she's faced in her high-profile relationships, including accounts of abuse. "It's not an exposé that I wrote or a memoir," she clarified on GMA.

"But throughout my life, I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships." These experiences, involving "very famous people," have been a guarded aspect of Fox's life, largely unknown to the public.

Fox, who was married to actor Brian Austin Green for 10 years, shares three children with her ex-husband, while Machine Gun Kelly has a 14-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Since 2020, Fox's relationship with MGK has captivated fans, with her referring to him as her "twin flame." The supportive nudge from MGK encouraged Fox to channel her life's turmoil into the verses of her book.

The poetry collection isn't a complete unveiling of her life, however. Fox admitted to holding back certain truths, saying, "Some of it is too much when you are a known person." This conscious censorship reflects the balancing act of a public figure striving for candor while maintaining privacy.

Despite facing "ups and downs," as a source told ET, the couple is forging ahead with their commitment to each other, aiming to overcome obstacles on their way to the altar.

In a poetic twist, Fox's own words offer glimpses into the depth of her connection with MGK. Her poem To Marry an Arsonist is a testament to their fiery relationship, as she writes, "True love, twin flame, trusted friend, naïve girl... So many secrets hiding behind your scorched-earth temper."

Revealing her anguish further, Fox's book includes a harrowing account of her miscarriage, with a powerful excerpt published by Page Six painting a vivid image of her pain. MGK, too, has channeled his grief into his music, embedding the heartbeat of their lost child in his song 'Twin Flame.'

Fox announced her poetry project on Instagram, highlighting her work as a cathartic release: "I've spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men... My freedom lives in these pages."

MGK, echoing the support that spurred the creation of this book, commented with praise, encapsulating the support system they've built together.
