Meghan Markle's former husband made an astounding prediction two years before she ended up marrying Prince Harry.
Before finding love with Harry, Meghan was married to American film producer Trevor Engelson.
They began dating in 2004 when she was 23 and he was 28, before marrying in Jamaica in 2011. However, the pair split in 2013 citing 'irreconcilable differences', before their divorce was finalized in 2014.
Meghan went on to date Canadian celebrity chef and restaurateur Cory Vitiello, but they ended up splitting up in 2016 - the same year the future duchess's ex-husband made a jaw-dropping prediction about her upcoming marriage.
Harry and Meghan met in 2016 after being set up by a mutual friend for a blind date at Soho House in London.
The pair have said they instantly hit it off, and within weeks, Meghan flew out to Botswana to join Harry on a charity trip.
The rest, as they say, is history, as the couple ended up going public, getting engaged and married, and having two children - Archie and Lilibet.
According to Bethenny Frankel, that would come as no surprise to Trevor, as he reportedly predicted the marriage long before it happened.
The reality star claimed on The Toast podcast that Trevor had told her it would happen back when rumors that Harry and Meghan were secretly dating had started to surface.
She explained: "He said his ex was a woman from a show called Suits. I didn't know what the show was. I didn't know the woman."
Bethenny claimed that months later, the news finally broke that Prince Harry was dating the actress, and she reached out to Trevor to confirm that it was his former wife.
"Months later I see pictures showing Harry's dating someone and texted [Trevor], 'Is this your ex?'. Trevor said, 'Yup'."
She then asked him whether Meghan was "going to close" the deal with Prince Harry, meaning whether she would end up marrying him, Trevor allegedly responded: "Oh, she'll close."
Bethenny then added: "I don't want to get into more about that but he was like, 'She'll close'."
She then said she replied: "Holy s**t, your ex is going to be a princess."
Their predictions ended up coming true, as less than two years later, Meghan, 44, ended up walking down the aisle of St George's Chapel, Windsor to marry Harry, 41, before going on to welcome their son Archie, now six, and daughter Lilibet, now four.
Their love story hasn't been all plain sailing since, though, as the couple decided to step down from their roles as working Royals in 2020 and move to the US.
The couple have since been living in Montecito, California, having cited privacy and safety concerns about living in the UK due to the attention on them, their family, and their relationship.
