Yesterday marked the second day of the defamation trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp since the 10-day break in proceedings.
Heard, 36, and Depp, 58, are still battling it out in the multi-million dollar defamation court case, in which the latter is suing the Aquaman star for supposedly defaming him in an article she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018.
The op-ed was titled: I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture's wrath.
Pirates of the Caribbean star Depp was not named in the op-ed, however, he believes it falsely implies he abused his former wife.
In any case, Heard continued testifying against her ex-husband yesterday and was cross-examined by his attorneys.
At one point in the trial, surveillance footage was played to the Virginia jury, showing actor James Franco paying Amber Heard a visit at her apartment the night before she filed for divorce from the Edward Scissorhands star.
Jurors saw Franco arrive at Heard's penthouse apartment in the Eastern Columbia Building in Los Angeles at about 10:50 PM on May 22, 2016.
The day before – on May 21, 2016 – authorities were called to the building after an alleged violent altercation which apparently saw Depp throw a phone at Heard.
One day after the surveillance footage of Franco was taken – May 23, 2016 – Heard filed for divorce from her then-husband.
Four days later - May 27 - the Rum Diary actress requested a domestic violence restraining order from Depp.

In the surveillance video from May 22, Heard - who is barefoot and wearing a sizable coat - can be seen heading down in her apartment building's elevator at 10:56 PM. The actress then gets out of the elevator and a minute later returns to the apartment with Franco, her Pineapple Express co-star.
The footage appears to show the two resting their heads together before leaving the elevator. Heard confirmed at the trial the video shows her and Franco - who she also acted alongside in The Adderall Diaries - going to her apartment together.
Heard previously accused Depp of "hating" Franco and said the Fantastic Beasts star assaulted her on a 2014 flight because he thought she was having an affair with the 127 Hours star.
