Some people have been left stunned after figuring out why Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's children are called Willow and Jaden.
Will, 54, and his wife Jada, 51, have been delighting fans in film, TV, and music for almost three decades but it seems like over the past couple of years, they made headlines for several reasons - examples: the infamous Oscars slap and the whole "entanglement" debacle.
Regardless, the couple's children have still managed to make a name for themselves by following in their parent's footsteps. Jaden, 25, co-starred with his dad in the 2006 film The Pursuit of Happiness and the 2013 sci-fi flick After Earth, while Willow, 22, made a small appearance in the 2007 film I Am Legend and cemented a music career.
As the famous family has been entertaining fans for a long time, it feels like we know almost everything about them. However, despite being crystal clear to some of us, it has taken others this long to understand why Jaden and Willow are called what they are.
Some users on X - formerly known as Twitter - were left in shock when they realized that the two youngsters got their names from their parents.
One person wrote: "I was today years old when I realized Jaden and Willow Smith’s names are just their parents names in different forms???? Goodbye."
