Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt divorced in 2005 - but 14 years later, are they back in contact?
It would certainly seem so, given that fact that Brad was caught on camera sneaking into his former wife's 50th birthday party yesterday.
Fans went wild with speculation after the Fight Club star was spotted making an appearance at Sunset Tower in Los Angeles to celebrate Jennifer's big five-oh.

The pair hasn't been photographed together since their split - and this sure was a close call with them finally in the same building! But, what did it all mean?

Honestly, no one really knows what's going on between the exes but them - but there have been rumours swirling for months that they began talking again when Brad announced his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
In 2017, it was claimed that the 55-year-old tracked down the Friends star's phone number through a "tangled web" of contacts, and reached out to her with a happy birthday text. They allegedly began talking afterwards, with Brad "confiding" in Jen about his split.
"Brad has confided in Jen," a source reportedly said. "Brad told her he's having a hard time with his split and they exchanged a few texts reminiscing about the past."

The actor certainly wasn't the only A-lister at Jennifer's 50th party, with dozens of celebrities turning up to the event. This included Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Ellen Degeneres, Robert Downey Jr. and Demi Moore.
Not a bad guest list, huh?
Jennifer is currently thought to be single, after divorcing from actor Justin Theroux at the end of 2017. Brad, on the other hand, is rumoured to be dating Charlize Theron after they were introduced by her ex-fiancé Sean Penn.
A source reportedly said: "They have been casually seeing each other for nearly a month now. They’ve been friends for some time — ironically through Sean — but things have developed."
Brad and Jen caused a media frenzy when they first got together back in 1998, after being set up by their agents. They were married for five years before Brad met Angelina on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
However, despite going through two divorces, Jennifer doesn't feel like her marriages were "failures".

Opening up about her personal life in the January 2019 issue of Elle, the Dumplin's star stated that a relationship still has value, even if it comes to an early end.
"I don’t feel a void. I really don’t," the 50-year-old told Elle. "My marriages, they’ve been very successful, in [my] personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness doesn’t exist within that arrangement anymore."
She continued: "Sure, there were bumps, and not every moment felt fantastic, obviously, but at the end of it, this is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear. Fear of being alone. Fear of not being able to survive.
"To stay in a marriage based on fear feels like you’re doing your one life a disservice. When the work has been put in and it doesn’t seem that there’s an option of it working, that’s okay. That’s not a failure. We have these clichés around all of this that need to be reworked and retooled, you know? Because it’s very narrow-minded thinking."
Hear, hear, Jen! We hope you had a fantastic birthday - you deserve it.

Jennifer Aniston's 50th birthday party certainly was a star-studded event, and plenty of big names were there in attendance. Guests at the Saturday night bash at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles included George and Amal Clooney, Ellen DeGeneres, Laura Dern, Robert Downey Jr., Kate Hudson, Demi Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Keith Richards, Barbara Streisand and Reese Witherspoon, to name but a few.
But one of the big names spotted there was none other than Jennifer's ex Brad Pitt, who famously split from her in favour of Angelina Jolie when they hooked up on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith. Brad split from Angelina back in 2016, and when he made an appearance at the party, many fans were curious to know what was going on.

However, now a source claims that the pair have buried the hatchet over their prior split. What's more; they're actually getting on quite well these days. The insider allegedly told British tabloid newspaper The Sun that: "They want everyone – all of their A-list mates and their exes – to know they’re on good terms and friendly."
They added: "Brad coming along to a huge event like that was a public move, but he doesn’t care what people think – he and Jen are friends, they support each other and their relationship has come a long way since their divorce, and even since his split from Angelina."

In a recent interview, Aniston opened up about her previous marriages, stating: "They’ve been very successful, in (my) personal opinion. And when they came to an end, it was a choice that was made because we chose to be happy, and sometimes happiness didn’t exist within that arrangement anymore ... This is our one life and I would not stay in a situation out of fear," the 49-year-old explained. "Fear of being alone. Fear of not being able to survive. To stay in a marriage based on fear feels like you’re doing your one life a disservice."
She added: "When the work has been put in and it doesn’t seem there’s an option of it working, that’s OK. That’s not a failure ... It’s a glass-half-full kind of thing. Always being open. Allowing myself to feel what I feel. What brings me happiness? I have a great job. I have a great family. I have great friends. I have no reason to feel otherwise."
Who knows? Maybe Brad and Jen could be an item again? Maybe they're better as friends? We'll just have to wait and see...

Jennifer Aniston has nothing but praise for her ex-husband, Brad Pitt.
The pair were Hollywood super-couple royalty back in the '90s and early noughts, prior to their 2005 split — which was famously plagued by infidelity rumours involving Brad and Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith...
But it appears any animosity has been brushed under the rug!
In a recent interview, the 52-year-old Friends star, along with her close pals Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, discussed some of her favourite guest stars on the sitcom. After reeling off an array of actors, Jen said to the pair: "Mr Pitt was wonderful, [he was] fantastic."
How sweet! In honour of the pair — who show that it is possible to remain friends after a break up — we round up some of their sweetest moments in pictures...
In 1998, Jennifer and Brad went on their first date after being set up by their agents. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the Friends actress revealed that they met for the first time back in 1994. "He was just this sweet guy from Missouri, you know?" she said.
Too cute!
After a veritable media frenzy over their purported relationship, the couple made their first public debut as a couple on the red carpet during the 1999 Emmy Awards.
Just look at that late 90's fashion... The Seven actor wore tiny sunglasses, while Jennifer opted for a sparkly, paisley gown and some strappy sandals.
The Hollywood power couple announced their engagement while at a Sting concert.
The pair crashed the stage, and Jennifer showed off her diamond engagement ring while they sang along to Sting's song, Fill 'Er Up. The lyrics were pretty spot-on: "We're going to Vegas, we're gonna get wed / So fill her up, son, don't be staring / Yeah, that's a real diamond she be wearing."
Now that's how you announce an engagement!
The pair tried to keep a low profile after they touched down in Budapest together.
Brad is pictured wearing a fluffy hat to combat the cold temperatures as he walked alongside Jennifer in the Hungarian capital. The actor arrived in Budapest for the shooting of his film, Spy Game, which was directed by Tony Scott, and Jen came along for the ride!
Earlier that year, the couple tied the knot at a seriously glam Malibu wedding, which was kept top secret. Unfortunately, there are barely any images from the ceremony, thanks to the media frenzy that surrounded it.
But we do have this very sweet black-and-white couple shot of the pair.
Jennifer and Brad posed for photographs at the 52nd annual Emmy Awards in 2000 — in what was their first outing as a married couple. At the awards, the actress was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in Friends as Rachel Green.
The Friends actor wore Prada, while Brad complimented her perfectly in a black tuxedo.
Brad actually made a cameo on Friends in 2001! He starred in one episode as Ross' former high school friend, Will Colbert, in The One with the Rumour.
It made for hilarious viewing given that Will and Ross were once in an "I Hate Rachel" club, where they would spread nasty gossip about her. Also... can we all take a moment for Brad's frosted tips?
At the 2002 Golden Globes, Jennifer and Brad turned up in matching outfits — goodbye Britney and Justin!
While Jennifer and her hit sitcom, Friends, were both nominated for a Golden Globe, neither won that year. Luckily, she and her hubby were wearing a killer outfit, at least.
Here, Jen can be seen gazing adorably at Brad as they arrive for the premiere of Troy, which was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City.
Around the same time, the actress told the Guardian of her relationship and desire to start a family: "It's time. It's time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do all of it. So I'm just truly looking forward to slowing down."
Jennifer and Brad fly to Cannes, France, to attend the gala screening of Troy at the Cannes Film Festival.
Jen wore a beaded halterneck gown by Versace, while Brad looked polished in a classic, black tuxedo.
Following their split in 2005 — which was plagued by rumours that Brad had an affair with Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith — we saw the couple reunite (publically) last year at The Sag Awards. The pair seemed super amicable as they chatted backstage, with the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor even grabbing his ex-wife's hand.
Looks like there's no bad blood here, folks!

Brad Pitt's "confession" to Jennifer Aniston about Angelina Jolie before they officially divorced has been revealed.
Aniston, 56, and Pitt, 61, tied the knot in July 2000 and enjoyed five years of marriage before announcing their separation in January 2005.
In a joint statement, the couple explained that their divorce was "not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media".
"This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another," they added.
At the time, rumors quickly swirled that the Fight Club actor had fallen for his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie.
While the pair denied any physical affair while Pitt was still married, they admitted they fell in love during filming. Shortly after the divorce, they confirmed their relationship, launching the era of “Brangelina".
However, it wasn't until later that a pivotal moment between Pitt and the Friends actress came to light.
According to The Morning Show star's long-time friend and co-star Courteney Cox, Pitt had been transparent with Aniston about his feelings for Jolie.
“I don’t think he started an affair physically, but I think he was attracted to her,” Cox said in a 2005 interview with Vanity Fair. “There was a connection, and he was honest about that with Jen.
"Most of the time, when people are attracted to other people, they don’t tell. At least he was honest about it. It was an attraction that he fought for a period of time," she added.
While the confession may have spared Aniston from finding out through tabloids, it came at a time when she was already going through a difficult personal chapter.
With Friends ending in 2004, sources close to the couple suggested she was navigating a transitional period while Pitt was away filming. Per The Mirror, one insider shared: "They gradually lost sight of themselves as individuals. And despite their nice lifestyle and having everything they might want, they weren't happy. They lost a sense of self."
Following the split, the Just Go With It actress was frequently cast by the media as the heartbroken ex, caught in an alleged rivalry with Jolie. But ten years later, she dismissed those narratives with poise.
"I think it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness," Aniston told Entertainment Tonight, adding that the fixation on the Jolie-Aniston dynamic is "tiresome and old," like "an old leather shoe".
Pitt and Jolie eventually married in 2014 but divorced in 2016 after two years. Their separation led to a protracted legal battle over custody of their six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne - as well as disputes over a jointly owned vineyard.
Meanwhile, Aniston has continued to focus on her career and privacy, rarely engaging with the ongoing commentary surrounding her past relationships.

I don't think anyone's love life has fallen under as much intense scrutiny as Jennifer Aniston's. Seriously, ever since the mid-90s, the former Friends star hasn't been able to go on a lunch date to Denny's without the media collectively losing its mind over her relationship status. The drama first began back in 1998, when Jen entered into a high-profile dalliance with Brad Pitt - at the time, one of the most desired men in the world. Things got more serious, however, when Pitt proposed to her, and the couple tied the knot in a ceremony in 2000 in Malibu.
For a time, Brad and Jen were the definition of #couplegoals ... that was until disaster struck. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hooked up during the filming of the movie Mr and Mrs Smith, and in 2005 Brad and Jen announced their separation, divorcing later that year. Aniston was portrayed in the press as a jilted, broken-hearted victim, despite the fact that she appeared to have coped remarkably well with the breakup, even commenting in a 2015 interview with The Hollywood Reporter that "Nobody did anything wrong.... It was just like, sometimes things [happen]."
[[twitterwidget||https://twitter.com/jordyneaton/status/1012441543347785729]]
But now, new information has leaked about Jen's current relationship status, and if reports are true, then it sounds like she's dating two guys at once! US Weekly reports that the two suitors currently vying for her affections are very different people. The first dude has been described as a tech titan that a mutual friend introduced her to. An anonymous source claims that "He recently split from his wife and is trying to win over Jen."
The second lucky guy is apparently "an industry creative she met when they started working on a project together several months ago," according to a second source. Tech titan and industry creative aren't exactly Jennifer's Aniston's usual type; she tends to stick to fellow actors when wooing. However, apparently, her friends are very happy that Jen is back on the dating scene. “They can hardly keep it a secret when they’re so happy to see Jen moving on," a source said.

Jennifer Aniston was previously married to actor, director, and screenwriter Justin Theroux (the nephew of the travel writer and novelist Paul Theroux and cousin of documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux). In 2012 they got engaged and purchased a $22 million home in the Bel-Air neighbourhood of Los Angeles. The pair married in 2015 in a private ceremony at their new home, but three years later they announced their separation.
In an official statement, they said: "We wanted to convey the truth directly ... Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else’s fictional narrative. Above all, we are determined to maintain the deep respect and love that we have for one another." I'm glad to hear that Jen is seeking love again. Maybe we could see her on Tinder in the near future?

Earlier this month at the Golden Globes, Entertainment Tonight host Kevin Frazier told Pitt that many fans are hoping to see a picture of the former couple together at the show, to which the actor replied: "I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend. Yeah."
"Good friends". Guys, it's literally 2002 again.
