Pink hits back at rumors she split from husband Carey Hart after 20 years of marriage
Pink has finally addressed swirling rumors that she and her husband, Carey Hart, have called time on their two-decade marriage.
On Thursday, the 46-year-old singer took to Instagram to directly confront reports claiming she and the former pro motocross racer had split.
Filming herself casually strolling around her home without makeup, the 'Trustfall' hitmaker delivered a sarcastic response that made her feelings crystal clear.
“So, I was just alerted to the fact that I’m separated from my husband, I didn’t know,” she said in the clip.
She doubled down in the caption, adding: “Like I always say. If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!”
Her post arrived shortly after People reported that Pink and Carey, 50, had parted ways. The couple share two children together — daughter Willow Sage, 14, and son Jameson Moon, 9.
A Marriage That’s Faced Challenges Before
This isn’t the first time Pink and Carey’s relationship has faced turbulence.
The couple briefly split in 2008, just two years after tying the knot in Costa Rica. That rocky chapter even inspired Pink’s hit song So What, with Carey memorably appearing in the music video, per The Sun.
However, the pair reconciled only months later and ultimately called off their divorce, choosing to work through their issues instead of walking away.
In January 2024, Pink gave fans a deeply candid look at their marriage struggles in an emotional Instagram post.
“Love is a lifetime of coming back to the table. We almost didn’t make it to this one, well a couple of them, if I’m being honest,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Carey.
She continued: “When I met you, 22 years ago, I just wanted someone that wouldn’t lie to me. I didn’t have a clue about commitment, building a life together, intimacy, trust.”
Her heartfelt message didn’t shy away from the hard truths of long-term love.
She said: “It’s f***ing hard. But man if I’m not humbled by the surprise of loyalty, history, forgiveness, and resilience. How love rearranges itself and reappears after an empty night or five. I’m proud we made it to the other side of this year. I wear our scars proudly. You are my stubborn, beautiful, immovable rock.
“The family we’ve built and the stories we have weaved together and the memories we continue to make are worth more than a thousand million awards that anyone could give me. I love you and I love us.”
Health Battles Behind The Scenes
While dealing with speculation about her marriage, Pink has also been navigating serious physical challenges over the past year.
In July, the Raise Your Glass singer abruptly canceled a concert during the European leg of her Summer Carnival Tour due to medical reasons.
A source explained that her high-energy performances — which often include demanding acrobatic stunts — had taken a significant toll on her body.
Later in the year, she underwent surgery to replace a pair of discs in her neck. On New Year’s Eve, Pink shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with a massive bandage wrapped around her neck.
The Pennsylvania native also revealed she was relieved to have 2025 behind her after describing it as a “nightmare” year.
