Rebel Wilson has revealed that she is in a "really good place" after splitting from her billionaire boyfriend Jacob Busch and opened up about how she's maintaining her 60lb weight loss.
In a new interview with Extra, Wilson, 40, discussed her recent breakup and the dramatic weight loss that she has undergone over the past year.
She said: "Any kind of breakup is hard and not ideal… I feel like, I don't know if it's turning 40 or coming into your own… I feel in a really good place."
The actress added: "I am so busy with work, doing Pooch Perfect now, and I have three movies to shoot after this."
She added that after years of failed diets, she has finally been able to maintain a slimmer frame long-term.
"I would often go on little diets and things and try to lose a few pounds here and there… This is the first time I haven't gained any weight back," she told Extra.
"I think because I approached it from all areas… the biggest thing that I haven't ever worked on was the emotional side, what I suffered from, I guess, as classical emotional eating… so I really worked on that side."
US Weekly reported last week that Wilson had broken up with her Busch via text message.
"They went to Aspen right before the holidays and had a blast. Then, he left for Florida to be with his family, and he invited her because he really wanted her to meet [them] but she never committed to doing that," a source told the publication.
"They talked all throughout the holidays and had excellent communication, but then, all of a sudden, she got really quiet and broke up with him via text message about two or three weeks ago."
The insider revealed that Busch, 29, found the split difficult to deal with and was "really upset."
The source added "it was very hurtful", however, they said that he has "no ill-will towards her."
Busch has "been crazy about her ever since 2019," the source added. "They would get together on and off throughout the years. They maintained their friendship and then became boyfriend and girlfriend in late summer."
The couple made their public debut together at the Prince Albert's Planetary Health Gala in Monaco in September 2020.
Another source told PageSix that the relationship had simply "run its course."
