Rebel Wilson has reportedly split up with her billionaire boyfriend following her recent weight loss.
In a post addressed to her 9.5 million followers on Instagram, the 41-year-old Australian actress and Pitch Perfect star uploaded a picture of herself looking slimmer than ever, wearing a stylish denim dress and yellow cardigan.
Take a look at this video of Wilson showing off her nunchuck skills:However, her fans were more intrigued by her caption than the image itself, which seemed to hint at the fact that Rebel was now single again.
Rebel wrote: "Lots on my mind...aghhhhhh...#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl! [sic]." The post has since managed to accrue more than one million likes and a further 12,000 comments from her many fans as of the time of writing.
The caption has led a number of Rebel's social media fans to speculate that her use of the hashtag "single-girl" means that she has parted ways from her 29-year-old boyfriend of two years, Jacob Busch – the billionaire heir to the company Anheuser-Busch.
For example, one person wrote: "Is no one gonna mention the #single?"
A number of Rebel's other fans and followers have since taken to the comments to offer their encouragement and praise.
For instance, one person wrote: "Single as a Pringle and ready to fuggin mingle? Lets goooo. This hottie must not rest ;) also - u are skinny [sic]."
Another person wrote: "Gorg at any weight, you are an inspiration how you are so confident being you!!! [sic]"
A third chimed in: "You are such an inspiration!! I lost 16 kg. Since last March every time I look at your progress I just say ... woman to woman can do this. [sic]."
Another fan wrote: "Sounds like it's time for some restorative alone time. Hang in there, Rebel."
Finally, another person added simply: "You were gorgeous before. You're gorgeous now."
In a recent interview with E! News, Rebel opened up about the public perception of her relationship with Busch, stating:
"Some people on social media say: 'Oh, well you lost weight and then you got a hot boyfriend.' But, what I do want to say to those people is that I actually dated Jacob when I was at my heaviest as well.
"So, it's not like I suddenly lost weight, and then you're like, oh, you get a hot boyfriend—that's not how it works. This guy liked me at 100 kilos and now 75 kilos."
She added: "I just want to clear out that. There's something really comforting in that to me because you're like, oh, it wasn't necessarily of what my body type was. He really likes me for me."
