Now, I'm sure we're all well aware of who Robert Pattinson is, right?

Most folks know him as the ever-so-pale Edward Cullen from the Twilight franchise, but if you've been a fan of the actor outside of that, then you'll know that he's done some other amazing projects like The Lighthouse, Tenet, Good Time, Devil All The Time, and of course, he also took on the role of Batman alongside Zoe Kravitz in the 2022 adaptation.

However, not everyone is aware of this, as you're about to find out.

The actor, 38, recently opened up to The New York Times about an awkward encounter he had with an Immigration Officer while he was on vacation with his fiancée Suki Waterhouse.

The pair were visiting St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean last year for New Year when the person said to him: "Hey, you’re the guy from Twilight. Why’d you stop acting?"

Pattinson, slightly taken aback by the comment, said that he wasn't sure how to respond but ended up saying: "I was like... 'I’m Batman?'"

I mean, duh?!

The Remember Me star said that the woman just laughed it off.

Elsewhere in the interview, Pattinson also discussed the fact that he is recognized less frequently than he was a decade ago.

"There’s something about the nature of being fresh meat," he told the outlet. "They thought: 'You’re not even a human.'"

Now, he can walk past rows of busy pubs without one person stopping him for a photo or autograph, far from the reality of his Twilight days.

However, these days he's taking things slow and enjoying being focused on his personal life, recently welcoming a baby girl with Waterhouse.

While performing at Coachella, the model and singer announced that she and Pattinson had welcomed a girl, initially keeping the sex of the baby away from the public.

"I don't know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently, some pretty big events have been going down," she said to the audience at the time. "I love amazing ladies, and I've been very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life."

In a separate interview, the 32-year-old also praised Pattinson for being a great father to their little one.

She told Access Hollywood that he's the "greatest dad" before appearing on an episode of the Today show where she told hosts that he's amazing at changing diapers.

“You know what? I would say I change more diapers," she said. "But! Diaper changing... he really excels at that and enjoys it. He thinks it’s fun. The surprise, and everything."

We can't help but stan!
