Sia has revealed that she's over-the-moon with her new facelift, and showed off the results of her recent cosmetic procedure at an award show.
The 47-year-old 'Chandelier' hitmaker - who famously performs wearing giant wigs that obscure her face - attended the 5th annual Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (October 1).
Many fans had to do a double take as the Australian singer-songwriter - whose full name is Sia Kate Isobelle Furler - made a rare appearance by pinning her hair back.
She took to the stage to present Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Ben Talei with the award for Outstanding Achievement in Medicine and publicized that he was the one behind her cosmetic surgery.
In her speech, the 'Cheap Thrills' artist wasted no time in getting candid with the audience and said: "I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about s***. I got an amazing facelift from Dr. Talei," as cited by E! News.
Sia didn't specify when she underwent the procedure but continued: "He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work - and not just for the pop stars of the world."
The 'Electric Heart' crooner couldn’t get over how unbelievable the procedure from the Beverly Hills Center for Plastic Surgery turned out.
"I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on," she quipped, "People go, 'You look nice.' I'm like, 'Dr. Ben Talei, face lift' for like anything you could ever want. I love him, I can't say enough good about him."
According to the publication, after Sia expressed her gratitude to Dr. Talei for being a "good friend," he couldn't help but return the love on stage.
"I don't know if you guys know how amazing Sia is as a person," he said during his speech. "We have a lot of common friends and it's always shocking how many keep saying, 'I love her, I love her, I love her. She's amazing.'"
"She really is, like you can see - a bright ray of sunshine and made my nieces and nephews' days. She invited them over to her house for a big party, and the whole family loves her. I'm super grateful," the doctor added.
The award-winning singer - who has written hit songs for artists like Rihanna, Beyonce, and Kylie Minogue - has previously shared that she tried to stay incognito throughout her musical career because of the pressures that come with fame and stardom.
She disclosed in an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 last month that sporting her trademark blonde wig that covered her face helped her create a "little bubble" for herself.
"When I got sober is when I put the wig on my face and that's when I had in-ears and wig and I'm just like, 'It's like I'm in a little bubble with myself,'" she said.
"But now that I know that that's what's going on, I think maybe one day I'll do a show with my face out again and have little fun talking to the audience and being heckled and getting present again because those shows were really fun back in the day before I had the wig on," she continued. "They were really, really fun."
In addition to her facelift, Sia also opened up about getting a liposuction in 2021. At the time, she said her insecurities pushed her to get the procedure.
"I’ve had liposuction twice on my chin thinking I had a double chin and it turned out to be muscles that I use to sing," she stated during an interview with physician and author Gabor Maté.
"I was so insecure," she explained, sharing that she also had a botched liposuction procedure on her stomach. "I did that to myself because I was so insecure and finally, I’m stopping doing any of that," Sia added.
