The 71-year-old supermodel turned heads yet again over the weekend when she dropped a sizzling snap of herself rocking a red bikini during a boat day, instantly reminding fans of her iconic Sports Illustrated days.

Brinkley’s ageless beauty and sunny energy are nothing new—her modeling career began when she was just 20 after being discovered outside a phone booth in Paris.

She rocketed to global fame in the late ‘70s, gracing three consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers in 1979, 1980, and 1981, and appearing on more than 500 magazine covers worldwide.

In 2017, Brinkley returned to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, this time posing alongside her daughters Sailor and Alexa.

“Feeling Optimistic and Hope your [sic] are too!” she captioned the sunny shot. “Wishing everyone bright sun shiny days ahead!”

People flooded the star with praise, as one person wrote: "You are still an icon and just so beautiful!!"

A second said: "You are my inspiration! Gorgeous at any age!"

While a third added: "The sight of you always makes me feel better about the world, Goddess Christie!"

Brinkley, who turned 71 on February 2, also shared some of her plans and aspirations with People last January. Reflecting on what’s next, she revealed she has her sights set on adventure.

“I want to go to India. I want to go to Tahiti. I want to go to Bali,” she said, expressing excitement about seeing new places and experiencing different cultures. Though she had thought about throwing a big bash, she admitted to being too busy for party planning.

“I had all kinds of ideas of what I could do, but I haven’t had a moment,” she said, embracing a more laid-back celebration instead.

Her youngest, Sailor, has followed in her mom’s high-fashion footsteps, starting her own modeling career as a teen and appearing in Teen Vogue.

Sailor, who also competed on Dancing with the Stars, previously opened up to Fox News Digital about the advice her famous mom passed down.

“I think the biggest piece of advice that she gave me is to, first of all, be as kind as humanly possible to everyone around me that I’m working with,” Sailor said.

“And that’s something I really try and stay strong on, even if I’m in a bad mood or anything like that.

"That’s sort of the biggest piece of advice that I think makes the best mark on anything that I’m doing and on the world that I live in and on the career that I have, [it] is just being sure that I maintain a reputation where people feel safe and comfortable and loved and happy around me and appreciated.”
