Steve Jobs' daughter has been going viral online, and a few people are just coming to a bizarre realization about her.
Jobs - the co-founder of Apple - died back in 2011, but left behind four children from his marriage to Laurene Powell Jobs.
All of those children have gone on to lead interesting lives of their own - including one in particular.
Steve Jobs’ 27-year-old daughter is going viral
Jobs’ 27-year-old daughter Eve has gone viral online for a few reasons, partly because she shared a picture of herself, partly because she is married to an Olympic champion - we’ll come back to all of that - but most of all it seems to be because of her name.
It’s pretty obvious, really, isn’t it?
Steve Jobs, Eve Jobs - it writes itself.
However, this was news to a lot of people.
Online, the reaction has been swift and decisive as always.
One response read: “‘Steve Jobs’ to ‘Eve Jobs’ are we serious?”
Another - perhaps unfairly - wrote: “Makes me giggle when men have the arrogance to name their kids after them like [what do you mean] her name is EVE Jobs?”
A third person said: “Steve Jobs has a daughter named Eve Jobs? That is funny somehow.”
Yeah, we guess so.
Not everyone is so critical though, another comment said: “Her name being Eve Jobs is iconic af.”
Another agreed: “Her name being ‘Eve Jobs’ is kinda iconic to me”
Eve Jobs is famous in her own right these days
Eve is actually named after probably the most famous Eve ever, the one from the bible.
There’s something apt about the fact that she’s famous for an incident involving an apple, too.
Born to her dad - who we have covered, was called Steve - and his wife Laurene Powell Jobs in 1998, she’s a model who went to Stanford University as well as being an accomplished equestrian sportsperson as well.
In fact, she ranked fifth best in the world for riders under 25 back in 2019.
Her husband Harry Charles - who she married earlier this year - is also an equestrian, and also at the very top of his game.
In fact, Harry represented Great Britain at the Olympics in Tokyo in 2020, competing in the individual jumping and team jumping.
In that team contest, he and his teammates won gold, so he’s pretty good.
The pair were married in England in July this year, so perhaps her name is Eve Charles now.
Doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it?
