Celebrity cosplayer and Twitch streamer Amouranth has mysteriously lost almost all of her social media followers, which some are blaming on bots.

Amouranth (real name Kaitlyn Siragusa) is a popular streamer known for her deliberately provocative cosplay and adult content. Siragusa provoked controversy on the platform earlier this month after she accidentally exposed herself. Since nudity is expressly against Twitch's terms and conditions she was banned for three days.

After the ban was lifted, Siragusa's follower count appeared to have doubled, after she gained more than 410,000 followers in the space of just one week.

But on October 29 she suddenly lost nearly 300,000 in a night. As a result of this dramatic dip, many are claiming that Siragusa had been using bot accounts to help boost her visibility and that Twitch mods have now stepped in.

This isn't the first time that Siragusa has provoked controversy. Back in 2018, YouTuber L OF THE DAY posted a video which revealed that Siragusa was actually married to a man named Nick Lee, and accused Amouranth of lying to her subscribers (despite the fact that she is listed as 'married' on Facebook).

Check out this awesome footage of a cosplay convention in Atlanta:

Responding to the accusations in one of her streams, Siragusa stated: "Haven't you heard the news? Every female on the internet is eligible to be dated by people who see her. She's an eligible candidate for every person who sees her."

She added: "That is the law of the land. No matter where she lives, no matter what their compatibility might be, no matter what their sexual preferences are, anything. If she's on the internet ... you can date her."

Siragusa herself has not yet commented on the sudden dip in her follower count over the last week.
