Survivor winner Parvati Shallow has come out as gay by uploading a sweet photo with her partner, Mae Martin.
The 41-year-old participated in several spinoffs of the competitive reality TV series, and was crowned the winner of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites in 2008.
On Saturday (December 20), Shallow took to her Instagram to share that she is in a relationship with comedian Mae Martin, captioning the post as: "We're here. We're queer. Happy New Year."
The black and white images featured her and the 36-year-old in a photo booth. The pair could be seen cozying up next to each other and in one of the pictures, the couple also shared a kiss.

The TV personality was previously married to Survivor: Samoa star John Fincher. The pair began dating in 2014, tied the knot in 2017, and then welcomed their daughter, Ama, five, in July 2018.
However, in August 2021, Parvati filed for divorce from Fincher after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences, and it later emerged that she had obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Fincher.
Shallow now trains as a yoga teacher and regularly shares insights into her life on social media.
She previously hinted at her relationship with the Canadian actor, who has starred in the Netflix series titled, Feel Good, and HBO Max's The Flight Attendant.
Sharing several snaps that featured Mae and her daughter, she penned in the caption: "Some people come into your life at the perfect and most unexpected time. They see you, they love you right where you are, they make you laugh so hard you cry. They celebrate your wins and lift you up.
"They do art projects with your kids and play hide and seek after dinner. When you’re sequestered in an airport hotel alone on your birthday, they throw a big surprise party for you when you’re home. They remind you that even when it’s hard, life can be a really beautiful journey," she added.
Along with proudly coming out amid her budding relationship with Martin, Parvati will appear in the new season of the competition series The Traitors - which is set to air in January 2024.
