Taylor Lautner reveals he is expecting his first child with Taylor Lautner

Taylor Lautner and his wife Tay are about to become parents. The couple shared the news that they are expecting their first baby together with a sweet Instagram post on Thursday, March 26, giving fans a glimpse into their next chapter.

In the photos, the pair pose together in a field while holding sonogram images. One standout shot shows Lautner, 34, leaning down to kiss Tay’s stomach as she wears a white skirt and tank top. The couple kept things playful in their caption, writing: "What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?🤍,"

Their relationship has been years in the making. Lautner and Tay, 29, first went public in 2018 after being introduced by his sister, Makena Moore, and have shared several major milestones since.

From first meeting to wedding day

Lautner previously opened up about how their relationship began during a break from acting. "I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends. And I met my fiancée out of it, so it all worked out," he told People in January 2022.

The actor proposed in November 2021 in a romantic setting filled with rose petals and candles. He later announced the engagement on Instagram with the caption, "And just like that, all of my wishes came true."

Tay also shared her excitement at the time, calling him "my absolute best friend," and adding, "I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU." Lautner responded in the comments, "Got news for you, the feeling is mutual."

Inside their intimate wedding

The couple tied the knot on Nov. 11, 2022, at Epoch Estate Wines in California’s wine country. After the ceremony, they reflected on their big day and how much it meant to them.

"Everything felt so surreal," Tay told People. "We were both very involved in the process so we had high expectations, but it exceeded them for sure."

Lautner added, "We just wanted the day to feel celebratory, no pressure or anxiety. Everybody there meant so much to us and we wanted all of them to be part of the day,"

Now, the couple is preparing for their next milestone as they get ready to welcome their first child. Their announcement, complete with heartfelt photos and a cheeky caption, has already sparked excitement among fans.

With their shared name and playful dynamic, it looks like there could soon be another Taylor Lautner joining the family.
