Taylor Swift found herself in an unexpected situation during her Eras Tour in Edinburgh, Scotland, as she performed through chilling temperatures, reported to be between 48 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

A fan video on TikTok captured the ‘Bad Blood’ superstar wiping her nose as she braved the cold on stage. The footage showed Swift lowering her hand near her sparkly green mini-skirt, with snot visible on her fingers.

The clips quickly sparked a range of reactions from fans, who mostly found the incident very “human.”

“I’ve seen 3 different videos of Taylor wiping or licking her boogers in the past 30 minutes, she needs to take some tissues with her up on that stage,” one person tweeted.

“this video of taylor swift eating her boogers and throwing snot on the stage keeps popping up. honestly, eat ur boogers in private idc but on stage is insane,” added another.

On the other hand, a fan defended Swift, writing: “What is the problem here? Shows that she’s human just like everyone when they don’t have access to a Kleenex.”

Another tweeted: “so ppl are bullying Taylor today for checks notes wiping away boogers? it’s giving obsessed but okay.”

The cold in Scotland last weekend was so intense that the 34-year-old star had to adjust her wardrobe mid-performance. Swift donned short black gloves with her Vivian Westwood gown while singing tracks from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, mentioning her hands were “frozen” due to the low temperatures.

“Oh God! Hand cramp!” she exclaimed to the audience, before massaging her palm, per BBC News. “I’m so sorry, everyone, this has never happened before, but my hand is frozen, I’m just going to warm it. I’m so embarrassed. My hand’s like a claw!”

In another video from one of her sold-out shows at Murrayfield Stadium, Swift is seen wiping her nose and then cleaning her hand on her red-and-black jumpsuit while performing ‘Don’t Blame Me.’

A third video showed her licking snot off her lip while playing the piano, with her signature red lipstick in full view.
