Shane Lynch, a former member of Boyzone, has launched a bizarre attack on Taylor Swift, accusing her of performing Satanic rituals during her shows.

Swift has been dominating the music scene in recent times, especially with the Eras Tour being one of, if not the biggest music tour of all time.

Getting tickets to her shows is incredibly difficult, and I can say that from personal experience.

Though it would seem that not everyone wants to go to the Eras Tour, as the former Boyzone star has accused Swift of doing the devil's work.

In an exclusive interview with the Irish newspaper Sunday World, the 47-year-old Irish singer, who identifies as a born-again Christian, made startling claims about the nature of contemporary music performances.

"I think when you’re looking at a lot of the artists out there, a lot of their stage shows are Satanic rituals live in front of 20,000 people without them realizing and recognizing," Lynch asserted. "You'll see a lot of hoods up and masks on and fire ceremonies."

Drawing specific attention to Swift, Lynch continued: "Even down to Taylor Swift – one of the biggest artists in the world – you watch one of her shows and she has two or three different demonic rituals to do with the pentagrams on the ground, to do with all sorts of stuff on her stage."

Despite Lynch's claims, he said that many perceive such displays merely as artistic expression: "But to a lot of people, it's just art and that's how people are seeing it, unfortunately."

Lynch elaborated on his concerns, explaining his decision to distance himself from certain music genres, particularly hip-hop, citing hidden Satanic imagery and themes.

"When it comes to a lot of the music that's out there at the moment – more of the hip-hop side of things – there is a lot of hidden Satanic [imagery] and a lot of evil within them, including down to the beats. It's very real," he emphasized. "Music attaches to your emotions. It has a connection to your spirit and how you feel."

This isn't the first time that Swift has been the subject of baseless accusations linking her to Satanism and witchcraft.

Earlier this month, during the Australian leg of her highly successful Eras Tour, Swift went viral for a hand gesture some interpreted as "the sign of the horns" – a symbol associated with Satanism.

Swift is yet to respond to the claims that she's performing Satanic rituals.
