Amazingly, it's been over a decade since we were first introduced to Lauren Conrad, her army of frenemies — and all the drama that took place between the young, hot, aspiring cast of the Hills.
Sadly, not all of the cast members returned for The Hills: New Beginnings — whose second season started airing last month. But if you're curious about what all the original crew have been up to since the Noughties, read on...
1. Lauren Conrad
Back in 2006, Lauren Conrad left Laguna Beach to make her name for herself at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and a shiny internship at Teen Vogue.
Sadly, she didn't return for the Hills reboot. Instead, she's busy managing her lifestyle website, a non-profit, while working on her own clothing line with Khols.
She tied the knot with William Tell in 2014, and they welcomed their second son in 2019.
2. Audrina Partridge
Conrad's neighbour at Hillside Villas, Audrina Partridge, worked at Epic Records as a receptionist back in the Noughties.
She joined The Hills reboot as a single mother after filing for divorce from husband Corey Bohan in September of 2017. Speaking of her experience on set, she told People: "I was going through a divorce and I was moving. There were times when I broke down on camera because I couldn't hold it together."
Career-wise, she competed on season 11 of Dancing With the Stars, before becoming the host of NBC's 1st Look from 2014 to 2015.
3. Heidi Pratt
Heidi started out as Conrad's best friend – but things quickly turned sour when she started dating Spencer Pratt. They later eloped in Mexico in 2009, and had a more glam ceremony for friends and family in 2009.
The aspiring party planner also hit the headlines when she underwent 10 plastic surgeries in one day during season six.
Now, over a decade on, the Pratts have most definitely proved Hills viewers wrong, as they celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in 2019. They also welcomed their first child, a son named Gunnar, in 2017.
4. Spencer Pratt
Pratt caused massive drama between the girls of The Hills back in the Noughties. He attempted to start a thing with Partridge while dating Heidi, and was even accused of leaking a story about a sex tape between Conrad and Jason Wahler.
He's since appeared on a slew of reality television shows with Montag, including Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Celebrity Big Brother UK.
Oh, and he's massively into crystals now.
4. Whitney Port
Whitney Port also had an internship at Teen Vogue, before leaving the mag to work at fashion PR firm, People's Revolution. She later left The Hills to star in her own reality show, The City, which was set in New York.
After The City ended, Port started her own clothing line, Whitney Eve, in 2008. She then married her longtime boyfriend, Tim Rosenman, in 2015. They welcomed their second child, Sonny, two years later.
5. Kristen Cavallari
Kristen Cavallari stirred up serious drama when she started flirting with Justin "Bobby" Brescia, who was then involved with Patridge. Then, in season six, her co-stars implied that she had a drug addiction — which they were apparently bribed to say.
Cavallari now has her own reality television show, Very Cavallari. The show revolves around her jewellery, children's clothing and homeware brand, which she launched in 2017. She was married to ex-husband, Jay Cutler, and they have three children — Camden, Jaxon and Saylor.
The pair announced their divorce in April of 2020.
6. Brody Jenner
Brody Jenner is the son of fellow reality television star, Caitlyn Jenner, and Linda Thompson. During his initial tenure on the show, he was involved with both Conrad and Cavalleri.
He married Kaitlynn Carter in 2018, before splitting after in 2019. The pair revealed on The Hills: New Beginnings that they were never married legally in the US earlier that year.
7. Jason Wahler
Jason Wahler was in an on-and-off relationship with Conrad during the show. At one point they even shared a home together, before splitting up between seasons. He was later arrested a number of times for alcohol-related incidents, before getting sober on VH1's Celebrity Rehab in 2019.
He married model, Ashley Slack, in 2013, and the pair welcomed a daughter in 2017. He had a brief relapse in April of 2020, telling his Instagram followers: "I relapsed, I surrendered and I am getting help."
Wahler and Slack announced that they're expecting their second child in February of this year.
8. Stephanie Pratt
Stephanie Pratt arrived in season three, and stirred up some sibling rivalry with her brother, Spencer. The pair argued constantly, and this has carried into the present day.
After leaving The Hills, she appeared on Made in Chelsea, and has been in the papers for her ongoing public feud with her brother.
Since joining the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings, tensions with her brother appear to be worse than ever... She went so far as to say that Spencer and Heidi are the most "toxic" people she's ever met.
9. Justin "Bobby" Brescia
Justin "Bobby" Brescia also joined The Hills cast in season three and immediately became Partridge's love interest.
Since leaving the reality television show, Brescia has had a successful career as a hairstylist. He launched a line of hair products and even opened a now closed salon in New York City.
He's since returned for the reboot.
