Vera Wang continues to amaze fans with her youthful appearance, proving that age is just a number as she confidently stepped onto the red carpet at 76.
The legendary fashion designer recently drew attention for her toned figure, wearing a cropped top and tailored trousers that showcased her physique.
Social media users were quick to praise her seemingly age-defying looks. "Nobody should stop being themselves just cuz they're older. I think this is sweet," one fan commented.
Another wrote, "Love her.... enviable ageing!" while a third added, "She looks 60 ish not 74, an impressive feat."
One amused admirer joked: "Homegirl just went and unsubscribed from ageing."
Others were desperate to know her secret. One fan quipped: "Drop the routine! I assume magic is involved? How much eye of newt? I'm running to the store."
Fortunately, Wang has been surprisingly open about the habits she believes contribute to her youthful appearance, and they don't involve any magical formulas.
Speaking to Page Six, Wang explained that she regularly enjoys fast food and sometimes goes through periods where she eats McDonald's every day for up to two weeks before moving on to another favorite.
She's also a fan of Dunkin' Donuts, particularly a donut she described as "a jelly donut, but it's cream inside, vanilla cream."
She added that she also enjoys "the pink with sprinkles, too."
However, there is one indulgence she eventually gave up. Wang revealed she stopped drinking Diet Coke six years ago and now mostly drinks water instead. She admitted quitting the soft drink was the "hardest thing she ever gave up."
Despite her love of treats, Wang says she also tries to maintain balance in her diet.
"I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish," she explained.
She also shared a surprising pizza habit from years past.
"At one point, I was eating a slice of Ray's pizza every day, and I never gained a pound on it. It's not a bad thing if you squeeze out that excess oil. It's so filling."
While many fans may focus on her food choices, Wang believes the biggest factor behind her youthful energy is something else entirely: her career.
"Basically, I've worked my whole life, so it's really been about work. I think work keeps you young and stimulated."
She continued: "I work very long hours, I've raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health."
Wang has also emphasized that she has never focused on looking younger: "I never thought about going way out of my way to preserve my youth in a fanatical, obsessive way."
For Wang, staying active, enjoying life, and maintaining a balanced perspective appear to be the real ingredients behind her age-defying appearance, along with the occasional donut and McDonald's meal.

Vera Wang has stunned fans with her latest red carpet look.
The 72-year-old fashion designer was snapped looking so youthful and elegant that many people can't believe her age.
Her astonishingly youthful appearance came at the Breast Cancer Research Fund's (BCRF) Hot Pink Party, which the charity hosted on Wednesday night in New York.
Wang dressed for the occasion in a glittering pink gown with a plunging neckline and a chic matching headpiece. She finished the look off with a sparkling diamond necklace and black nails.
"Think Pink…… So happy to be able to celebrate the BCRF again! In memory of the late great Evelyn Lauder. You helped to change the world," Wang captioned a snap of herself posing elegantly on the pink carpet.
Unsurprisingly, the photo was met with a lot of love from fans, many of whom took to the comments section to express their astonishment at her youthful appearance
"Wait 72 no way," one person commented, while another added: "There is just no possible way that this woman is 72 years old," and a third agreed: "There is no way Ms. Wang is 72. She has to be in her 40s, easily."
One fan even went so far as to suggest that the fashion designer had a supernatural secret for staying youthful. "I think Vera is a vampire. Has not aged since the first time I saw her at least 30 plus years ago," they commented.
Another thought Wang looked stunning regardless of her age, writing: "Gorgeous. Ageless!"
According to Elle, Wang has revealed that she does have a secret to eternal youth - but that it isn't anything nearly as scandalous as being a vampire.
The magazine reported that, per Wang's Instagram account, her youthful appearance is down to: "work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, [and] not much sun."
While her show-stopping red carpet look might have caused a stir on social media, Wang didn't steal the show at the Hot Pink Party. The event raised a record-breaking $8.5 million for BCRF, which is the largest private contributor to breast cancer research in the world.
Let's just hope we can all find the fountain of youth one day.

Vera Wang regularly stuns her followers with her ageless looks and the designer has revealed the secret to maintaining her youthfulness - and it's nothing anyone would have expected.
You might imagine the 76-year-old fashion icon would say that she eats super clean, avoids alcohol, and devotes hours to the gym to maintain her toned physique and ageless complexion.
However, you'll be pleased to know it is actually none of that.

Speaking to Page Six at the DKMS Gala in New York in March 2024, Vera admitted: "I do eat McDonald's, absolutely, I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change."
She added that she also loves to get a Dunkin' Donut, revealing: "I like the cream-filled, sugar-coated donut. It’s like a jelly donut, but it’s cream inside, vanilla cream. I like the pink with sprinkles, too."
It's not all good eating though, as she also revealed that her strong work ethic also helps to keep her young in body and mind, explaining: "Basically, I've worked my whole life, so it's really been about work.
"I think work keeps you young and stimulated. I work very long hours, I’ve raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health."
She had previously espoused the benefits of working over retiring, telling Elle that her company, which she started at the age of 40, keeps her young in "mind, body, and soul."
Vera said at the time: "Work was my lifeline that kept me feeling relevant and challenged me over the years.
"I think the mind is more powerful than one could ever understand. The challenges that work and life present us is what keeps us going."
It's not all work and no play as Vera previously revealed to People that she loves a sip of vodka at the end of the day, explaining: "One of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail. There's no question about that, I do. I have a vodka at some point after five or six o'clock, towards seven."
Other things she thinks are super important to looking this good into your 70s and beyond are staying out of the sun - a known factor for premature aging - as well as getting nine hours of sleep per night and being well rested.

She also added that while the world is obsessed with her looks, she isn't too "preoccupied" by them herself, but admitted she is "frightened" about the other aspects of getting older.
"I think what happens sometimes as you age... I'm more frightened about physical disabilities... not all this," she told the Daily Mail.
"I'm not totally preoccupied with how I look. I love my work, and I'm very passionate about my work, my friends, my daughters... I mean, I have a very full life."
Sounds like she's got it sussed!
Vera's Instagram is always flooded with fans commenting about how ageless she looks, and her recent posts are no exception.
From a snap shared in August 2025, showing her all dressed up and ready for a martini cocktail, to her lounging in the sun for Chinese Valentine's Day, fans can not get over her youthful looks.
And it sounds like she's not scrimping on any of life's little joys, either!

Vera Wang's age-defying looks are captivating social media, leaving fans stunned at her seemingly perpetual youthfulness. The celebrated New York-born entrepreneur - who turns 74 today - frequently shares the secrets behind her youthful glow.
Her appearance is undoubtedly a testament to her exceptional genes, but she reveals that her secrets to ageing gracefully go beyond frequent gym visits or a strict diet regimen. During an eye-opening interview with BBC 100 Women last year, she discussed the ageism she experienced after garnering online attention for her vibrant looks.
Wang unveiled her two key ingredients for maintaining her zest for life: a good night's sleep and a relaxing vodka cocktail to transition from a "very intense work schedule" to her "bit of a private life."
Throughout the interview, Wang candidly acknowledged the influential role her career in fashion played in preserving her youthful aura. "I've been in fashion since I was 19 years old. Not in front of the camera, behind it. I never thought about youth, probably because I work with the most beautiful women in the world on a daily basis," she stated.
Her approach to dealing with ageing is both productive and inspiring: "I more envision them as my muses, and maybe it's a way of dealing with ageing that is productive. So I always said that vodka cocktail, a lot of sleep, but work - work is the magic elixir," Wang shared. The acclaimed designer, known for working with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Gwen Stefani, and Mariah Carey, also affirmed that she never obsessively went out of her way to maintain her youthful appearance.
In an earlier 2016 conversation with Harper's Bazaar, Wang detailed her workout regime, which surprisingly comprises short, consistent bouts of exercise. "I usually lift weights, not much - two pounds and three pounds. It takes me a total of five minutes," she divulged, adding that one thing she never misses is a nourishing lunch.
Her eclectic lunch menu varies from sashimi with brown rice and vegetables to Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or an artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus. As part of her healthy lifestyle, she also shifted her beverage preference from Diet Coke to water back in 2010, labeling it as "the hardest thing I ever gave up."
So, Vera Wang's secret to a youthful appearance? A five-minute weightlifting session and a wind-down vodka cocktail. Here's hoping that adopting her regime may sprinkle a dash of her timeless elegance on us all!

When thinking about Vera Wang, many want to know how to get their hands on one of her gorgeous wedding gowns.
But, what some astounded fans are really wanting to know is how the designer - who turned 73 this year - still looks so youthful.
On an Instagram post celebrating Wang’s birthday, many admirers commented on how good she looked for 73.
One Instagram user commented: “73 must be the new 33 because you are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS", with another fan gushing: "Gosh share your secret please you look like [you're] 30."
Speaking on the subject of age earlier this year, Wang revealed some of the secrets to her youthful looks.
The fashion icon told BBC’s 100 Women one of her tricks was “sleep” and a “vodka cocktail at the end of the day” because it helps her to transition from work mode into her private life.
I don’t know about you, but a vodka cocktail and a nap after a long day to stay young sounds excellent.
Wang continued to explain the impact of her work on her appearance: “I have been in fashion since I was 19 years old. Not in front of the camera, behind it.
“I never thought about youth. Probably because I work with the most beautiful women in the world, on a daily basis. And because of that, I [more] envision them as my muses. And maybe it’s a way of dealing with aging that is productive.”
So, the answer - something you may not want to hear- is work, the businesswoman admitted: “Work is the magic elixir.”
The designer hasn’t always been in the fashion world though. She devoted 16 years of her life to be a serious athlete, trying to qualify for the Olympics as a figure skater, she told the BBC.
Because of this, Wang recognizes the importance of exercising to stay fit and to keep her body looking youthful.
In an article with Harpers Bazaar where she listed her daily routine, Wang said: “I usually lift weights, not much- two pounds and three pounds. It takes me a total of five minutes. I’ve also begun trying to meditate, which is the hardest thing I’ve ever learned.”
Another element to consider when looking after your body is your diet. The fashion icon also appreciates the importance of eating well.
She told Harpers Bazaar: “I never miss a meal; I have to feed my brain.
“I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steam broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus.”
Wang also sacrificed Diet Coke, saying it was the “hardest thing I ever gave up” choosing to now drink only water.
Despite this, the businesswoman is extremely laid back when it comes to her lifestyle, and she knows it is okay to treat herself occasionally.
Whatever it is that she is doing, Vera Wang certainly looks incredible for her age and we want whatever it is in her water that is keeping her so youthful!

Vera Wang has left her fans shocked, yet again, after showing off her youthful appearance.
The renowned fashion designer turned heads as she stepped out onto the red carpet at Thursday night's DKMS Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
The star, who turned 74 in June, flaunted her midriff in a stunning black satin bralette top and a matching maxi skirt. While the top was sleeveless, Wang paired the look with some thick leather gloves and a statement flower near her shoulder.
Her hair was pulled to the side with some volume up top and as for her makeup, the icon decided to keep it simple, with a soft base and some thick eyeliner on her lids. Have a look at the stunning outfit below:
DKMS is an acronym for the Deutsche Knochenmarkspenderdatei, which is a German non-profit charity organization that prides itself on helping to fight against blood cancer by trying to find and match stem cell donors with patients.
Wang strutted her stuff on the red carpet alongside other notable stars who were there to support the great cause including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Niki Taylor, and Marc Jacobs.
After sharing snaps from the event on Instagram, many of her 880,000 followers flooded Wang's comments section with praise, with one person writing: "Love the shoulder piece, looking fabulous as always Vera."
Others branded Vera "stunning", "ageless", and "beautiful".
During the event, Wang spoke to DailyMail.com about aging, revealing she doesn't feel she is "preoccupied" by her looks.
However, she did reveal her one fear about aging, saying: "I think what happens sometimes as you age... I'm more frightened about physical disabilities... not all this."
"I'm not totally preoccupied with how I look," the designer continued. "I love my work, and I'm very passionate about my work, my friends, my daughters... I mean, I have a very full life."
Speaking to the Observer about the importance of the event, Wang said: "I remember my first DKMS event. I think it was in a much smaller venue, and it’s gotten larger, larger and larger every year.
She continued: "I’ve been awarded here at least twice already, but it’s hard to remember the first one and where it was. I feel honored to be here."
Wang previously opened up to PEOPLE, stating that the secret to her youthful glow is a confident attitude as well as a sip of vodka here and there.
"I guess it's just that people have an idea of what 70 looks like today," she said. "I have so many friends that are 65 to 70 that look fabulous. But I have to say that hopefully, it's a good thing. I hope it makes women feel more comfortable with themselves or are confident, or there are many definitions of what a woman can be."
She continued, telling her fans that she loves a cocktail.
"And, one of the things I am known to like to do is have a vodka cocktail. There's no question about that, I do. I have a vodka at some point after five or six o'clock, maybe towards seven," she continued before adding: "And I have to say, sleep, staying out of the sun without sunblock, and good lighting is everything too!"
