Travis Barker's teenage daughter has responded to heavy criticism after taking to social media wearing what some people deemed an "inappropriate" outfit.
Alabama Barker - whom the Blink-182 drummer shares with ex-wife and model Shanna Moakler - recently received heavy backlash after sharing photos on Instagram.
The 17-year-old took to the social media site to share a series of snaps with her 2 million followers showing off her glamorous look while on an evening out with friends. She captioned the post: "Self esteems drop every time I show up."
In the photos, Alabama can be seen donning a long blonde wig and silver jewelry, while wearing a spaghetti-strapped skin-tight dress that showed off her chest and stomach.
Despite amassing over 200,000 'likes' in just a week, many of the comments were from Instagram users who believed the dress was unsuitable for a girl of her age.
"Way too underage to be acting this grown," one person commented, with another adding: "I don’t care what anyone says this girl is not an adult and shouldn’t be dressing this way."
Others labeled Alambama's outfit "unflattering", "not flattering", and "incredibly inappropriate".
Some of the comments even took aim at the teen's parents - with many spotting that dad Travis had 'liked' his daughter's post. "Sad that a parent likes this," one person commented, with a second adding: "I’d be mortified if my dad liked this post."
On the other hand, there were several Instagram users who defended Alabama - saying that she wasn't dressed any worse than many teens her age. "I understand that she’s a minor, but what bugs me is the fact that all of you guys are judging her when God knows all of us did the same shit she’s doing at her age," one person commented.
After the mixed reaction over her look, Buzzfeed reports that Alabama took to her Instagram Stories to deliver a response to her critics.
"Let’s stop getting mad on my page that you felt the need to oversexualize me and have a problem with it," she started her message. "I’m not going to wear long sleeves, etc., to make the internet not sexualize the body I was born with. If you have a problem, unfollow me."
Travis and Shanna also share a son - Alabama's older brother - actor and composer Landon Barker, 20.
Both Landon and Alabama have also become half-siblings to their father's newborn son, Rocky Thirteen Barker, whom he shares with his new wife Kourtney Kardashian.
