Travis Kelce is once again proving that he's one of the nicest guys around after his touching gesture for a five-year-old battling cancer.

The Kansas City Chief star has cemented himself as one of the best football players around and has even managed to bring Taylor Swift's fans into the sport due to their relationship.

But even with the fame of playing football at the highest level and dating arguably the biggest superstar on the planet right now, he is still a genuinely great person.

On April 28, a user took to X to share a story from a decade ago about how Travis made a sweet gesture for a five-year-old fan who had been diagnosed with cancer.

Alongside a picture of a football bearing two distinct signatures, the user wrote: "Probably the only @tkelce double signed football to exist! In April 2014, when my niece Berkeley was battling cancer, she got to meet Travis.

"He signed her football and because she was only 5, she told him she couldn't read it so he printed his name for her."

The image was also uploaded to TikTok, and fans rushed to praise Travis for his heartwarming gesture.

One person wrote: "He didn’t just print it, he used upper case letters & wrote neatly so it was easier for a kid to read. Little details really can tell you so much about a person! Love this!"

A second added: "The world doesn't deserve a Travis Kelce," while a third said: "How can anyone hate this man he has a heart of gold that's why him and Taylor work so well they love kids and their fans."

Under the post on X, Courtney, who posted the photo, revealed that Berkeley won her battle against cancer.

Travis is no stranger to showing his support, as he demonstrated when he flew to Australia earlier this year to support Taylor.

Their romance blossomed after an encounter at one of Taylor's concerts in July 2023, where Travis attempted, albeit unsuccessfully, to present her with a friendship bracelet bearing his contact information.

Swifties, as die-hard Taylor Swift fans are affectionately known, often exchange friendship bracelets during the singer's converts - a nod to the lyrics of her song 'You're on Your Own Kid' from the album Midnights.

It's impossible to have a bad word against this man!
